"Aaand that's the last of the boxes!" Dani exclaims as she places a giant cardboard box full of house items onto the spacious floor of a soon-to-be living room. Her boyfriend Medic was in the kitchen, already putting stuff away.
Dani and Medic have been dating for nearly a year now- so Dani asked if they could move in together. Medic agreed, but suggested that they get a brand new house so that they can sell both their homes and start anew. Dani agreed and picked out a two bedroom house with a finished attic. It was an ideal home for a new couple.
Dani sneaked into the kitchen and noticed Medic was putting bowls and seasonings into the wooden cupboards. He seems to busy with putting things away that he doesn't notice Dani- so she takes this chance to surprise him. Dani tiptoes behind him and picks him up. Then she places him on her shoulders as he yelps. Dani laughs whole heartily and Medic s in with a small amount of scarlet blush appearing on his face.
"OK, OK, can put me down now!" Medic pleads, and Dani obliges by putting him down with caution. "You're done with the boxes?" Medic asks. Dani hums in response. "We'll just gotta get things away before putting in the furniture and our little котятаs (kittens) in the house."
"Right...about them..." Dani raises an eyebrow at her lover. Suddenly there is a tiny meow and the comfy rubbing of an even tinier animal at her legs. Dani looks down and notices Malen, the calico kitten she had bought a month before is showing affection to her. Dani sighs and picks up Malen.
"You brought them in already?" Dani asks with slight annoyance. Medic nods nervously, making Dani groan. "It's fine...just don't let little Malen here or Matroyshka get out. You know how you get when they go missing." "Da, da. I know..."
The rest of the afternoon Dani and Medic were putting stuff away. Stuff such as dishes, weapons like knives and skin peelers, small torture devices, and food. Getting the couch into the house was challenging enough with having to angle it through the doorway, but it became even more difficult with Malen and Matroyshka rubbing against Dani and Medic's feet. Finally, Dani and Medic got all the furniture into the clean home. They both fell to the couch in defeat, giving into the exhaustion of carrying all the heavy items throughout the day.
Dani checked the clock on the wall, which read 8:11. She grabbed the T.V. remote and turned it on. "Hey, honey?" Dani asked the red rabbit. "Yes?" "Wanna do a horror movie marathon to celebrate moving in together?" Medic's grey eyes lit up in excitement. "Of course, dear! I don't work til' Wednesday, so we can watch as much as you'd like!"
When Dani went over to the T.V. stand and opened up the small cupboard in it, the first movie she saw was 'Child's Play.' One of her favorite horror franchises ever! Medic and her would often comment on how stupid the story was or laugh at some of the deaths and liners from Chucky.
Dani gathered all the Child's Play movies and placed them all on the coffee table. Medic's face beamed at the movies. "Yes! Our favorite horror movies!" Dani laughed. "Yup! Just gotta put the first one in the DVD player first." Which she did quickly so she could turn off the lights and grab a blanket so Medic and her could cuddle up together.
Medic smiled when Dani came back with the black blanket. Dani placed her head on his chest and Medic wrapped an arm on her shoulder. They stayed like this for a long time.
Dani and Medic ended up falling asleep while in the middle of the fourth Chucky movie, which is Bride of Chucky. Funny, huh? Because before they fell asleep they were joking about how much they relate to Chucky and Amanda. How they are also a serial killer couple.
A cute couple...
