The Hannibal charecter that I relate to the most (from the TV series) is Will Graham.
Will's charecter and I are similar in many ways, from our mental state to our dress sense and even our ion for dogs!
When I was finding out about the TV series, I read a lot about the main charecters, and obviously about Will, it interested me that he has Aspergers. Aspergers is most certainly something I can relate to as I have it myself, so the way I think can be very similar to the way he does, making him easier to understand than most charecters. As we are both on the spectrum it means it's easier to see how he thinks and the way he is portrayed by Hugh Dancy in the first season gave me a lot of confidence, seeing another, even though it's fictional, doing an amazing job.
Also like Will, I have been a "patient" at a "mental hospital", even though the one I was in was not for the criminally insane, I was still placed in one with no say of me being there. It luckily wasn't as bad or confining as the one in the show, but I feel I relate a little there.
Will was used and manipulated a lot by Hannibal, which caused him to struggle with his head and memories. I understand that all to well (Not by Hannibal lol) . *Not including as I don't want this to be triggering *
Our dress sense and hobbies are rather similar too, I wear a lot of plaid, plain dark shirts, jeans and simple jackets like Will (they are comfy), and I enjoy fishing a lot, though I am not very good at it, I find it relaxing.
And finally, dogs. Dogs are most likely my life, I only have one as of now (I am hoping to adopt more in the future) and he is my every thing, he was a stray found last year and ever since then he has been my baby. As I can't have a million dogs, (which I would love to) I work at a charity called Blind Dog Rescue UK, where we currently have just under 200 dogs!
