So I called my vet to book an appointment and told her what had happened and she said that Alex was probably hot and tired (since I had to clean her cage in the day and it was about 30°C outside) so she told me to do things to make Alex cool. Which I did because I put an ice cube in her water which she then drank and she has pots and things to go in to keep cool.
The vet also said that I should keep an eye on Alex about losing weight and if it gets any worse to just go straight in to get her checked but since I hadn't weighed her for months before yesterday we can't know for sure whether it was a rapid weight loss or not. She also told me to try and give Alex some baby food, so I'm going to get some vegetable ones from the shop because the one I have now should be given more as a treat.
I had something else I had to say but I can't right now so I'll edit it in when I do.
