Introduce yourself

I am in the EDT time zone, my hobbies are crystal collecting and animals. I am 15-20 years old and my strengths are my love and comion, my weaknesses are how easy it is to take advantage of me because of how trusting I am.

How active are you?

Can you decorate posts?

I would like to say yes, my best decorated post is my event team auditions though it isn’t well decorated, I can do better.

What are some post ideas we could use in the future?

I think we could review different types of chews and see which hamsters like most.

The sterilite 200 qt bin for hamsters!

I originally bought this cage for my syrian hamster smoke because the one I originally had for him would not fit his 12 inch wheel. This bin is very spacious with a little over 800sq inches! While some hamsters may demand more space Smoke seems very content with his home and loves to roam! He has not been able to escape yet if I leave the lid off to watch him even when his wheel is so high up! If anyone has a syrian hamster and is looking for a bin that will fit a 12” wheel I would love to recommend the sterilite 200 qt bin! This will also work for dwarf or chinese hamsters!

Wire wheels

While some people will argue that wire wheels are good for small animals, they are not! The tiny holes in the wheel can cause a hamsters foot to get stuck which can lead to injury, or can cause sores on their feet which causes bumble foot! When at the pet store please do not buy them for your hamster or any small animal for that matter, and please just because they’re in chain pet stores enclosures does not mean they are good for your animals!
