Sometimes I think of my past hamsters I had growing up and sometimes it makes me feel a bit sad, I had them when I was a child before I had access to the internet at home and their care was not the best. If I could go back in time and change things I would, but sadly I can’t . Growing up I made the mistakes of using Small cages, or cages that where too tall. I also used to use tiny wheels and bar and mesh wheels, and I did use good bedding at times but whenever I was on a budget growing up I would be using awful bedding like pine or cedar bedding or wood shavings. Sometimes I would be so broke that I would have to use flat news papers or paper towels kinda like what people would do with bird cages… I wish I could’ve done better for them but at the time I didn’t know, and my parents seen it as “your pet, your responsibility “ so I had to save my own money at the time to make sure they continue to have clean bedding and food. And I know it was a learning process but I still continue to feel bad about it. So if anyone who reads this have kids or wants to have kids one day and they wanna pet and you agree with it make sure that both you and the child/ren do research and make sure you are actually willing to actually help the kids provide proper care for their pets, it shouldn’t be just a child’s responsibility.
I wish I could of done better.

I completely agree with you on absolutely everything, I've made aloy of the same mistakes you have but that's all they are mistakes, and we all learn from them and I'm sure you've absolutely made all your efforts to do what you can to give them a better life that before to improve their quality of life and to keep them healthy and well, even if you weren't taking care of them properly, you are Now and Now that you can you're trying your best, you should forgive yourself for mistakes you didn't know you were making.

Well that's good, I really can't see anything that you can do right now, and it's her responsibility to take care of it and when she inevitably get tired of it which I know she will hopefully she will give it to you.
