So my hamster Moxxie is 1 year and 6 months old, tomorrow I’m gonna be taking him to the vet for his checkup just to make sure he’s healthy and doing good. I am currently getting his carrier ready for tomorrow, but for some reason his water bottle that I used for his carrier is leaking, the one that I’m currently having problems with is a Kaytee water bottle. And he used to have a living world water bottle to begin with but that never worked since the day I got it. I also can’t order a water bottle online atm because it won’t be here on time for his appointment. The closest pet stores near me are Petco and pet supplies plus, if anyone knows of any water bottle brands I can get there that might work and last longer I would very much appreciate it. I just don’t wanna take him to the vet without a water bottle because it’s an hour drive away and it’s been hot out lately, I also don’t want a water bottle that leaks and gets the bedding in his carrier all wet.

i always use cucumber! its even better than a water bottle when doing short trips because the water bottle can rattle and possibly leak :0
I’ll be using cucumber even if I find a water bottle just to be on the safe side. It’s just so hot out and the vet is about an hour away, probably a bit longer depending on traffic or road work.

Even if I do find a water bottle I might put cucumber in just in case, might also double as a small snack. :sweat_smile:
instead of a water bottle you could also use a piece of cucumber! since there's a lot of water in that aswell
