“𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚝𝚛𝚢 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝙸’𝚖 𝚞𝚗𝚋𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚔𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎”
(𝙷𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚂𝚝𝚘𝚗𝚎)
𝙵𝚞𝚕𝚕 𝙽𝚊𝚖𝚎:
Charlotte Caroline Brook
𝙽𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚗𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜:
Lottie but she prefers her full name, don’t call her Charlie or Char as she hates it. (I feel like someone would sing Sweet Caroline [in modern times] to her when they find out her middle name too, which she would also hate.)
𝙶𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛:
Female, she/her (she would also be fine with they/them though)
𝙰𝚐𝚎:
Depends on RP, a year younger than Hamilton
𝙿𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢:
She is charismatic and generally a nice person, being taught politeness by her parents at an early age like many other high-class children. She will likely avoid you and act silent around you if she doesn’t trust or dislikes you, it takes a lot to get her to snap but she becomes very ionate in the rare situation it does happen. She is almost a textbook Ravenclaw, quite intelligent, loving to learn and expressing herself through creative means. Her upbringing to be “perfect” can make her less likely to express herself naturally though, especially when it comes to art in public.
𝙰𝚙𝚙𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎:
Charlotte has dark brown hair, usually tied into a classic Regency bun, with a slight auburn tone and hazel eyes. She is quite pale with a few freckles on her face and shoulders from the sun.
(Not me basing an OC on a picture I liked lol)
Her average clothing is in the gallery.
𝙵𝚊𝚖𝚒𝚕𝚢:
She is the middle child out of 3 siblings, her older sister named Catherine Ellison Brook and her younger brother George William Brook. Her mother is Caroline Brook (nee. Ellison) and her father William Brook. In her historical backstory, she’s also married to a man named Edward Willows and adopted twin girls orphaned in the war, Matilda and Abigail. (This part wouldn’t carry over to modern RPs)
𝙽𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢:
She was born in Britain but her parents quickly moved to America when she was 10 due to the new opportunities it created. Her maternal grandmother was French but this doesn’t affect her much.
𝙵𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚜:
She gets on well with the Schuyler Sisters and John Laurens. She is more neutral with the rest of the “Hamil-squad” but will call them acquaintances.
𝙴𝚗𝚎𝚖𝚒𝚎𝚜:
Charlotte wouldn’t really consider anyone an enemy, however she would say she dislikes Thomas Jefferson due to his snobbiness and people associated with him. She disliked Maria at first but soon learnt it wasn’t her fault.
𝚂𝚎𝚡𝚞𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢:
She’s a lesbian, however quite closeted and kind of unaware herself that liking women is an option. She is married (in historical times) but only for convenience, it was mostly an arranged marriage but not one of those where they fall in love anyway.
𝙰𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚕𝚒𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗:
Her family are all patriots and the revolution, including her. She strongly s women’s rights but keeps it to herself unless asked (historically) as it was controversial at the time.
𝙻𝚒𝚔𝚎𝚜:
Her favourite flowers are sunflowers due to them being very common around the area she lives in, so she often wears a lot of sunflower themed items in her clothing. Her favourite colour is green. While not an actor herself, she loves to watch and read plays. She owns a lot of Jane Austen and Brontë Sisters books.
𝙳𝚒𝚜𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎𝚜: She can’t stand winter, especially when it’s snowing, due to it being harder to be outside in nature. Also, she hates the taste of bananas and mangos, and when people brag or just can’t stop talking in general. Charlotte gets uncomfortable around violence and injuries.
