I almost gave up drawing entirely in the meantime because of some problems that discouraged me, but I decided to try again and a challenge

Theodosia Burr Alston was an American socialite born on June 21, 1783, daughter of Aaron Burr and Theodosia prevost, being the couple's only surviving daughter

Theodosia was created mainly in New York City. His education was closely supervised by his father, who emphasized mental discipline. In addition to the more conventional disciplines, such as French, music and dance, Theodosia also began to study arithmetic, Latin, Greek and English composition.

In 1801, Theodosia married Joseph Alston, a wealthy landowner in South Carolina who would become the 44th governor of that state. It is believed that his daughter's bond with a member of the southern gentry may relieve him of some of his financial burdens. Marriage to Alston meant that Theo would become prominent. Her letters to her father indicated that she had formed an affectionate alliance with her husband.

On December 31, 1812, Theodosia and Timothy Green, an old friend of Joseph's, boarded the Patriot, a schooner from Georgetown. Theodosia and Timothy never made landfall, and in South Carolina, Joseph did not hear from his wife or the schooner crew. Before long, the mysterious case caught the attention of the United States and several rumors emerged.
