hello everyone! this is another blog from the
tgfa staff and with stuff we have been
discussing together! so if you wanna know
how to get your post featured, keep reading
this post!
what does it mean to feature a post?
when featuring a post, the staff allows it to
be on the front page! this means it is more
likely to catch ’ attention and that
the post gets viewed more than if it wouldn’t
be featured! these posts are being featured
by the staff :)
though to get your post worthy of being on
the featured page, the team have been
discussing what would be good things to
have as requirements for different types of
posts and you’ll be reading about that here!
blogs:
you can do a lot with blogs, but do you want
your blog to be featured? make sure it has
and intro and an outro, that your blog is
on-topic, at least 5 paragraphs long, has a
cover image and if you’ve used any type of
sources for the content, make sure to link
them!
edit and art posts:
unless you’re a verified artist or editor, you
are always required to have proofs or some
process pictures included in your post!
for it to be feature worthy it have to be on-
topic, have an intro and an outro, have a
cover image, at least 4 paragraphs written
of texts (1 paragraph is 5-7 sentences), and
proper description of your work which can
include tools, inspiration, thought process,
pngs, apps used, psds and time taken! it will
also be needed to have a watermark there.
though if you use fan-arts, trace or use
templates, make sure to fully credit them!
icebreaker entries:
we love to feature icebreaker and give our
new a chance to be shown to the
other . though for an icebreaker to
be featured, not only do the questions have
to be answered and our icebreaker tag to be
included, it also need a on-topic cover image
and even include on-topic dividers if you use
pictures for that too! make sure to
an intro and an outro for your entry too!
fanfictions / one-shots:
for fanfics and one-shots to be featured, it
obviously have to be on topic, have some of
the canon character involved, have a cover
image, include trigger warnings if it has any
content that can trigger someone, intro &
outro, proper space between different parts
and be at least 600 words, or 80-100 lines
minimum and lastly try include some headers!
original character (ocs):
if you want your oc to get featured, you will
have to 100% have it completely filled out &
finished, pictures of the faceclaim youre
using and have a full backstory. minimum
length of backstory should be around 14
full sentences (2 paragraphs) and if using a
template, the credit link have to stay there.
templates:
for templates to be feature, it can be any
type of template as long as it’s content is
somehow related to the grishaverse! we also
require an intro, outro and some rules for
the template along with a part of it without
the fonts (if using fonts) or a screenshot
inserted of the font version.
theme shops:
if you want your themeshop to be featured,
make sure that the themes are on topic to
grishaverse, that you include proof of
making them and that you have watermark
on the themes. we also require an intro,
outro, cover image and proper description!
cosplay posts:
we would love to see your creativity within
cosplay and we would love to feature the
great portraying of our lovely grishaverse
characters. though please make sure to
include an intro, outro, description and
different photos for the cosplay if you want
it to have a chance to be on the feature page!
group/challenge entries:
since some of our groups require for the
group to make their entries as a
blog, we wanted to include some requirements
for how those posts can get featured along
with the challenge & event entries!
by this said it is important that your entry
is answering what the prompt/topic is asking
for and that you include description for how
you’ve chosen to solve it. we require as
usual an intro, outro and cover image.
for some group issues, you’ll have to have
at least 3 sentences for each included part
explaining why you think each part would fit.
group editions/issues:
we are all for featuring all of the group issues
and editions of course as long as they are
on topic, has intro and outro, cover image
that’s also on topic to the grishaverse and
that makes it clear what the topic is about!
others than that we do not require much as
we know not all groups are running the same
way and we know that member put in plenty
of effort and time into their parts!
