Week 4-6 Recap and Preview

Week 4, 5 and 6 are in the books with a lot of surprises and moves. The Playoff race is going on with teams making cases for the 1st Seed and others trying to keep a possible Playoff berth alive.

Standings

The Salento Scorpions are continuing to impress with a 5-1 record and scoring a lot of points quickly. It looks like they are keeping this up and look to close out the 1st Seed in the next few games. Behind them it's tight, the Venom stand at 3-3 which is decent, but the Aces and surprisingly the Yellow Jackets are both at 2-4 and in the hunt. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds and who actually makes it to the Playoffs and which team unfortunately won't.

Salento Scorpions

This team is on fire, currently on a 4-game winning streak. The activity hasn't decreased and it looks like the Scorpions keep being dominant. Nearly every player on the team scored points and Salento wins games with team effort, no solo efforts which shows the consistency of the team.

Las Vegas Venom

Las Vegas is the new 2nd Seed. Sitting at .500 the Venom look to secure a playoff spot, although losing the last 2 games. Their key player and star rookie Venom is taking a break from Amino which severely hurts the team as he was an important contributor and reason the Venom started 3-1. GM JJ is finding back to his form in recent games though, this will be interesting to watch now that Venom left.

Alaska Aces

Onto the Alaska Aces who started out hot but losing game after game at the moment, reason for that might be Johnny's inactivity as he didn't attend every game. There has been some drama involving star player Legion about him taking a break but he ultimatively stayed and is the front runner for that ROTY award. The Aces have to step it up and win now so they don't lose their Wildcard spot.

Frankford Yellow Jackets

What a week for the Yellow Jackets, Retro is their new GM and he made interesting moves, g Juice, ThePresent and Ryan Weaver. The gs, especially Juice, look to pay off as the Jackets went from 0-4 to 2-4. If they continue this might be a great comeback and a possible Playoff appearance. Retro and Juice are shaking the league up, being a great Duo and giving Frankford victories.

Preview - What to look for

Is Salento ready for a Playoff run?

It sure looks like it as of right now, but it is possible that Salento starts to lean back and relax a bit which could cost them important games. They have to keep performing and stay focused.

Venom without Venom?

As mentioned, star rookie Venom is taking a break and this will affect Las Vegas, but can they compensate with other players or King and JJ stepping it up? JJ is finding his groove again but King has slowed down a bit, I guess time will tell.

Will Alaska finally wake up?

Looking like a surefire top tier team to barely holding on to the 3rd Seed, what happened? Johnny needs to get the team together and make everyone attend the games. The Aces look scary if everyone is playing, but “if“ is a key word.

Can Frankford actually come back?

Retro and Juice turned this team around, Present has yet to be at a game so we don't even know what he is capable of. Looking at the competition having weak games, the Yellow Jackets have a solid chance at making it to the Playoffs.
