The first time I watched an NFL game is Patriots vs Steelers around 2017 (Week 15). First three quarters, as a first time watcher, I thought the Steelers already had the win in the bag, no to mention the crowd is really loud and pumped out. Then, the Patriots came back with 11 unanswered points. The consecutive es of Tom to Gronk mostly killed the Steelers during that game. Then, that's it. I can't any other outstanding performance from Ben after the 2017 season. In 2017, he ranked 3rd among all the QBs in the league based on PFF [1], but then in 2018 he went down to 15th [2], N/A for 2019 because of an elbow injury (out) [3], and 20th in 2020 [4]. After the Steelers reached AFC Championship in 2017 (lost to NE), they missed two consecutive seasons to playoffs after, and in the last season, they were eliminated by the Browns in the first round. But then looking at the highest career earnings by a quarterback, Ben is the 2nd highest earned QB (after Tom Brady) [5]. That led me to thinking, how good is he before and until the end of the 2016-2017 season?
