Aaron Rodgers recently has been reported to want out of Green Bay. But where did this all begin? The reigning MVP suddenly doesn't want to play for the team that he had spent his entire career with? Let's do a deep dive into Aaron Rodgers vs the Green Bay Packers.

Where did it all go wrong?

Despite being drafted by the Packers back 2005, Rodgers has a massive chip on his shoulder. After falling in the draft Rodgers has been determined to prove that the league made a mistake. Rodgers re, he holds grudges. It is no coincidence that Rodgers requested a trade on the one year anniversary of the Jordan Love pick. If you have been following Aaron Rodgers closely, one thing is consistent. Aaron Rodgers is a petty man. He took that Jordan Love pick personally, you thought he wanted to prove the Packers wrong by winning the MVP? Oh no, Rodgers will take it a step further. Aaron Rodgers just proved that he is the most valuable player in the league, so let's see what the Packers do without him. Try to win without him, we'll see how far Green Bay gets.
The perspective of Aaron Rodgers.

If we look at Aaron's career objectively, there is no reason he should stay in Green Bay. All he has ever done is win with a bottom tier roster, only to lose the NFC Championship, because players can't carry organizations. So why not leave? Rodgers witnessed the Brett Favre scenario unfold, only this time it's different. When Favre was the Packers QB, he still wanted to be there, but the Packers wanted Rodgers. How did the fans respond? By booing Aaron Rodgers at his first practice as the starter. Do you think he forgot that? And what has Green Bay done for him since then. They made it to one super bowl, and haven't bothered to build a super bowl caliber roster since then. So why should he stay? They've always taken him for granted, they have never fully appreciated him. They never resigned players when he asked them to, they fired his Quarterback coach without giving him a head's up, and they they drafted Jordan Love. Rodgers has made his move, fire the GM and let me pick my guy, prove your loyalty to me. Aaron Rodgers doesn't need the Packers, the Packers need Aaron Rodgers.
The perspective of the Packers.

The Green Bay Packers are a conservative franchise. They don't take risks, and they play it safe. Even their best players are boring, have you noticed that they are amazing at developing O-line men? Let us look at this from conservative Green Bay's perspective. Last year, Aaron Rodgers was getting old, why would they not draft his replacement? They have to think about their future. Who cares about Aaron Rodgers feelings? Nothing happens to him after he retires, if the Packers are bad following Rodgers retirement, the front office looses their jobs. They can't be concerned about how Aaron feels. Speaking of which, why does it matter? They did it before with replacing Favre, so why can't they with Rodgers? The Packers GM Brian Gutekunst will look like a genius with they trade Rodgers and win multiple with Jordan Love. Anyway, who's to say Rodgers would win without them? Green Bay had 6 pro bowlers in 2020(not counting Rodgers) What more does he need? Green Bay isn't a large market, they can't just sign whoever. They're always picking in the bottom of the first round, what more does Aaron want? People get upset about the Jordan Love pick, but I am a fan of it personally. Imagine if you had a QB like Aaron Rodgers, would you not try to replace him? What if Aaron just decided to retire, then there is no replacement. From the front office's perspective, they always have to be building for their future, not Aaron Rodgers future.
This isn't about super bowls.

Aaron Rodgers has god status in Green Bay. He can't be criticized, he can't be blamed, it's never about him when things go wary. When the Packers drafted Jordan Love it sent a message, everyone is replaceable. Not the great Aaron Rodgers. From Rodgers perspective. "You can replace me? Fine, go win without me. I'm going to embarrass you the same way you embarrassed me. I'm leaving one way or anther, I will never play for your team again." Rodgers status has been questioned, he got McCarthy fired, and now he wants the GM fired. This is Rodgers putting the Packers in their place. He wants respect. The Saints didn't do this to Drew Brees, the Steelers didn't do this to Ben, so how could the Packers do this to him? This will not stand.
Who is to blame?

I know everybody is taking the Aaron Rodgers side, but maybe it's not the Packers fault. The Packers GM however has built an excellent roster. The Packers should have went to the super bowl. I know a lot of people will point the finger at Matt LaFluer, but don't you think Rodgers could have persuaded LaFluer to keep the offense on the field? When your defense picks off Tom Brady three times, you need to win that game. I don't care if it's 4th down, you tell your coach that you aren't kicking a field goal. Also, how is this the front office's fault? They built a team for the NFC Championship, now go out and win the super bowl. If this were 2016, Aaron would have a point, but it's not. The Packers have an amazing roster, and they used their first round pick as an insurance policy. Jordan Love is meant to play when Aaron Rodgers retires, that is not unreasonable. We have seen the Packers without Aaron Rodgers, they aren't a very good football team, why would they not get an excellent back-up, in case Rodgers gets hurt? Terry Bradshaw recently came out and criticized Rodgers behavior, and he is right. How insecure can you possibly be, to the point where you don't like that the Packers drafted your back-up? The Packers didn't even plan on starting Jordan Love yet, but Rodgers wanted the Packers to pay.
How much truth is there to every situation.
There is now a report that Aaron Rodgers wants the GM fired, this will be the nail in the coffin. First of all, if this is true, Aaron Rodgers is being a bad person. Requesting for someone to lose their job is truly a terrible thing. If it is not true, Aaron should come out and this. At the same, there has now been a report that The Packers told Aaron Rodgers that they would trade him. Now I do not believe this, because who would honestly trade Aaron Rodgers.
It's over.

Now Aaron Rodgers will not finish his career in Green Bay. Whether it's in 2021, or 2022, Rodgers will not finish his career in Green Bay. He has made his money, and he wants to leave by making a statement. If Aaron wants to be incredibly petty, then he could retire and the Packers do not get anything in return. Jordan Love will be the Green Bay Packers starting quarterback some day, and it appears it will sooner rather then later. If Jordan Love turns out to be a great player, then there won't be a problem. The Packers can win a super bowl on his rookie contract, and they will look like geniuses. They will turn to Aaron Rodgers and say. "look at you and your pettiness, we could do it without you while you're sitting at home retired, realizing that you could have had another ring." If Jordan Love can't play, then Aaron Rodgers will have the last laugh. So if Aaron Rodgers retires, and Jordan Love plays and is terrible, Rodgers will be smiling in California knowing that the Packers made the worst mistake of all time. While the Packers are constantly finishing last in the NFC North, Aaron Rodgers will either be enjoying retirement, or he will be winning super bowls with a team like the Denver Broncos. When he is hoisting the Lombardi trophy, he will be smiling and thinking of the Packers, knowing that they made a mistake. Drafting Jordan Love was the biggest mistake they ever made, because they questioned the man who carried them for years, and now they took him for granted for the very last time.
