Created by Dodofiasco, this AU follows Mabel who finds herself stuck in the past. She just so happens to get stuck in the same time and year that Stanley is homeless and living out of his car. Stan finds her and Mabel asks him if she could stay with him. Although he wants to turn her into the police so they can find out who she is, Stan decides to let her stay with him thinking she is a runaway child who escaped a really bad life (and also cause they may recognize him and arrest him). Mabel of course cannot let Stan know that she is related to him but grows a strong bond with him. The two go on adventures together as Stan sees Mabel is really close to him, almost like a daughter, or niece. Along with that, Mabel must find her way home to her own timeline and gets help from an unlikely source, with a chance to change things for what she thinks are for the better.

Summary:

Mabel ends up trapped in 1979, without her brother and with a broken time machine that she can't fix herself. Luckily, her Grunkle Stan is there. Of course, he's a lot younger now...he has a mullet, he's living out of his car and he doesn't know he's her Grunkle. But he's not planning to let this weird, sparkly little girl end up alone on the streets.
