Ｇʀᴇᴇᴛɪɴɢꜱ Ｂᴇᴀᴜᴛɪꜰᴜʟ Ｓᴛʀᴀɴɢᴇʀꜱ

A while ago I got commissioned to draw an OC together with Ford while both sharing some french fries.

I had a small idea back then of how I envisioned it, but unfortunately my motivation and university stuff got in te way.

Anyways.

My idea was however, since they wanted to be surprised, to set the scene into a diner. Despite the fact I never set foot in one. Luckily I kinda knew how they looked like and some google images helped me a little bit more.

My background drawing skill is still... something. But I think I got a little better for this one. Even tho the lightning and shading still needs development.

Maybe I should focus on backgrounds more in the future.

How I begin my work is usually a mess. Most of my sketches would confuse some people and I am pretty sure that it's like the hand writing of a doctor.

Not all of my sketches are like that- mostly bigger ones.

When I continue to give it more details, it develops more shape and what it supposed to look like.

I also changed the pose of Marilyn as I was quite unhappy of the first pose.

When it comes to shading I developed the weird messy but kinda realistic style. It is still in development but I kinda love it for now.

Even tho I sometimes switch between more clearer lineart and this.

I mean my artstyle manifested a year ago but not the colouring technique.

As for the brushes I ususally go with one for now, which is a watercolour brushes. I think it's called the opaque one. But I'm not really sure with that translation.

I will try to use different brushes in the future.
