Bill Cipher Analysis

What is Bill Cipher? : Bill Cipher was obviously based on the all seeing eye. His watchful eye has him watch everybody and everything. I mean the dude's a creep. Bill Cipher is a mind demon. He seems to be able to tap into people's mind. Such as dreams. In the original Dreamscapers episode Bill hacks into Dippers dreams so he could tell Dipper about Gideon's plan. He also comes into his dreams for the whole let-me-own-you-as-a- puppet-and-destroy-all-of-your-work-so-I-can-rule-all-of- humanity operation. Also in Dipper and Mabel's Guide to Mystery and Nonstop Fun he writes a page in the journal when Dipper falls asleep. (BTW ignore Dipper and read the page it has some serious toll on things) He is a liar. After all there is a code calling him a Liar Monster and Snappy Dresser. Bill Cipher also has a thing for codes because in Dipper and Mabel's Guide to Mystery & Nonstop Fun he writes a lot of codes throughout the book spilling secrets of the town. He also cracks a lot of codes because in Journal three you see the names of three ciphers that are all crossed. I am guessing Bill cracked them. These are what they are they might come in handy.

The Abatash Cipher which looks like this: A is Z

B is Y

C is X

The A1Z26 Cipher which looks like:

J is 10 K is 11 L is 12 M is 13 N is 14 O is 15 P is 16 Q is 17 R is 18 S is 19 T is 20 U is 21 V is 22 W is 23 X is 24 Y is 25 Z is 26

The last one is the Ceasar Cipher which is a lot more complicated to just write down so I'll explain that one later.

Bill after all is that guy he knows. ("I think I know a guy" quote refrence.)

This guy on YouTube called Trey the EXPLAINER made a video called "What is Bill Cipher?" I think his theory has some serious value in this. He talks about how Bill is between the Third and Fourth Dimension. Which to me made a lot of sense. The 1st dimesion is just length. The second dimension is length and width. The third dimension is length, width, and height. And fourth dimension is length, width, height, and time. Bill is known for his time qualities such as pulling out watches, slowing down time when entering our universe. This fine line between the third and fourth dimension is what we think is the Mindscape is located. You see the Mindscape is probably like The Void in Doctor Who. The space between universes, maybe even dimensions. Unlike the explainer I think it's here two dimensions and parallel universes meet, sort of like a crossroad. Bill also mentions in the book on how he has "alternate realities to tamper with." You see, even though this is a long shot since I am using a Doctor Who episode as my reference but keep an open mind guys, the more I explain the more you would understand what my theory is. I could be on to something. You see first you have to understand what The Void is. The Void is literally the space between parallel universes. There is nothing there. No air, no light, no planets, no sound, no anything. Anyways in this particular episode there was this sphere that was sitting in this room for months. It was weird because it was unquantifiable. It didn't have any mass, weight, or anything. Everything pointed to the idea that it doesn't exist. Except there was no way that was true because they could see it. Same sort of concept with Mindscape. Bill did say "How could you stop me, if you don't exist?" See the connected concepts now? Understand that I am not saying Gravity Falls is in cahoots with Doctor Who. (As awesome as that crossover would be.) I'm saying that the same idea is applied. By the way I see the loophole because in the Doctor Who episode they saw the sphere. Key word being saw. But nobody saw Dipper as he was drifting through the Mindscape. This can go in more depth.

Who is Bill?: Answer: No clue. He's like an evil con man. I think he is sort of like a criminal of some sort. To be honest if we don't exactly know too much about Bill to even develop a strong theory about who Bill is... I mean honestly, this guy has a lot of attention for a guy with only two official episodes and two pages in a guide.

What Bill is up to?: Chaos. A very vague answer to that but he probably has some concerning ideas to make things more suitable to his kind of lifestyle. He leaves that creepy Pinocchio reference at the end of Sock Opera episode (As if puppets aren't creepy enough):

"No puppet strings can hold me down So patiently I watch the town

And soon abnormal will be the norm Enjoy the calm before the storm!"

I mean Ultron from the Avengers movie; Age of Ultron and Bill would be good friends. They even make the same references.

Anyways Bill here has a list of "fun" things to do in the guide which probably indicate what he intends to do with his love for craziness.

List of Fun Things To Do

●Pulling teeth out of a deer's mouth

●Asking "why" until somebody runs out of answers and starts sobbing uncontrollably

●Bending your fingers back as far as you can

●Eating childhood memories

●Making time stop forever

●Transforming into whatever form people fear most ●Silly straws! They crack me up! They're so silly!

So... Am I the only person concerned for Fun Things between Bending Fingers and Silly Straws. Probably not. I do want to talk about what cipher knows but that is another chapter with in it's self.
