Figure: “I mean, I thought about it..” Mike: “What happens if.. what happens if this goes wrong?” Figure: “If it goes wrong.. You, everyone here.. dead.” Mike: “What happened to those before us? Like the ones who did this. Last year?” Figure: “My theory is that there’s a gate, a pocket dimension or something that blocks an entrance between that void and ours. My theory is that in that dimension there’s an entity that can slightly interact with this world, hearing sounds and seeing things. Yet, it can’t touch it or interact with it. It can also see into that void. It can also see them. Hear them. But it has control over that gate.” Mike: “And you know all this..? How?” Figure: “I’ve had people on this before.” Mike: “Why do you think the it will open the gate? If anything, the town was less vulnerable before you and me.” Figuire: “I’m not. But I don’t know what it is, what it does. Maybe it doesn’t know it can influence the gate.” Mike: “We can hope.. How long did we have to wait?” Figure: “The day of monsters. I have to call a friend.
