7 years of Time Traveler's Pig

It was 7 years ago today, that my favourite #GravityFalls episode of all time aired.

The Time Traveler's Pig turned 7 today.

Here's a VHS remake I made of the final scene over a year ago, that I'm only now getting around to posting here.

In the past, many people have asked me why this is my favourite episode of GF, and not fan favourites like Not What He Seems, and/or Sock Opera. Well, IMO, it's all about the story telling and rewatchability.

I mean, you watch NWHS once, & now the surprise has been spoiled for you. Rewatches are now always filled with the expectation so eventually the episode loses that magic it had the first go. I've rewatched TTP more times than any other episode of this show, and I still find myself watching it without skipping or doing something else. It's just the perfect blend of both mystery and childhood fun. You've got time travel, the fair, Dipper and Mabel's sibling bond, etc. Sure, many people may not agree with me, but that's okay. That doesn't mean I don't like the fan favourite episodes, I do. But at the end of the day, I just prefer this one more.
