𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟮 - 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟴

The story of Naomi is one of the somewhat particular ones... Born in the night of 30th April of the 1982, to a mother who, from the beginning, couldn't take care of her, because of the "financial reasons"... The girl was then entrusted to the first adoption by one of the many families who couldn't have children, a family that at the beginning was very happy to have her, so much so that for a good job, the father had to move with the whole family, from America they move to England, in the 1987.

The little girl grows up with this secret on her shoulders, unconscious of everything... Without discovering her true and dark origins... But! On the other hand, she reached the high school age with a great maturity....But without thinking that she has had various manifestations on herself, such as demon possession and various changes on her skin, like black veins. She was taken to various exorcists at the age of less than 10 years and... For some sessions she even risked death... Let's not go into details, but in case you want to know more, I will be free to explain everything in private chats for whom will be curious to know-

Even... she didn't face very well the mutation in her years of puberty, in fact the girl tended increasingly to wear wider clothes such as: large sweatshirts and pants, a style almost tending to hip hop and a little bit of rock!

She always wore a hood to raised in shame, both for the pimples that manifested themselves in that age, but also because because of the mother, who tended to make a very short cut hair because of her phobia for lice. Naomi didn't agree very much with these haircuts that she made for her, in fact for various whims she ruin her hairstyle, remaining with a worse and messy cut that before... But to fill this shame a little were the companies she frequented and among these were her "best friend", Paula Cracker and her boyfriend Stuart Pot, who Naomi has always had a big crush on him such long time, sinse she know him... Exactly the first time she meet him, was first love~...

He was always the first to lower her hood and telling her that "she look much better when it was down", while her friend gave her some... compliments...? Whatever! Paula hadn't always been a dear friend as she seems, she made Naomi do things they she really didn't want and like to do, and most of them were also dangerous as well as embarrassing... But for Naomi she was the only person that she could be with, after all... they went to the same schools for almost a lifetime.

The girl became closer and closer to these friendships, despite the fact that her family gave various warnings about them, but they were years of puberty and rebellion and the girl started to think by her own way, having more and more quarrels in the family...

She was created to herself a new personality and a world was opened a door to her,

The world of the music... So much so that she started learning to play various instruments, but she went a lot of guitar, she fall in love with that instrument! A little later she made Paula learn how to play the guitar herself too...

𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭 (𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘇) 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟴 - 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟱

Music becomes like an obsession, or it was just the obsession she had on him, Stuart... She was falled in love with his voice, his way of doing, he found him so sweet, cute and funny, he was certainly a total clumsy, but at least he tried to be serious.

But the only thing she couldn't digest was that her only "best friend" was with her only crush, but that didn't keep her away from her new ion and maybe... Her only skill.

During that years, she also got to know others of the band who were forming Paula and Stuart together, they were: Russell Hobbs, the band's drummer. Naomi made great acquaintance and friendship with Russel, he was like the older brother she never had in her entire life! As much as she trust him that talk to him about the big crush that she had towards the singer, Stuart... They also shared small things in common, in particolar the genre of music, which was he at that time made her enter the world of hip hop. Another of the small problems in common was a "problem of possession", but Naomi didn't talk about it with everyone, but only with him...

Then there was the bassist of the band, Murdoc Niccals. The only aspect of him told who he was... How he talk, how he look each one of them, in particular Stuart, Naomi began to hate him more and more, that's why in the last few years he had shrunk so badly... Being that she had known Paula for a while and the boys she frequented, Naomi ed when she saw Stuart for the first time... He was absolutely perfect for her, blue eyes and blue hair, he was like a prince charming! But... She noticed many changes after various incidents and all because of Murdoc, in particular Paula's lack of interest in Stuart...

So then, as the beginning she doesn't get used to the presence of Murdoc, she already didn't like Paula's presence too, who was always together with Stuart, but most of all she still had to get used to his new nickname, 2-D...

All these conditions bring her to her greatest state of depression, creating completely another person inside her, making change both appearance and character in herself: the transformation was temporary, tended to manifest itself when she was too much in closer with people that she hated or when she fall in a deep depression... By making it become like a large mass of black cloud in human shape, the only things that could be seen were eyes and mouth lightly, as if they were completely illuminated from the inside... Although it was all in shadow. She always shared this kinda of thing with Russell, who was also in a same condition, so much so that it was manifested to him everytime he fell asleep...

But she managed moderately to control it...

Months went by and the friendships between them... were increasingly tense. Meanwhile Naomi managed to find people of her own school and same age to enter in a school band, in the other group the first problems started to arise.

The most serious problem that came to was Paula, Naomi heard from Russel that she cheated on 2-D, with Murdoc! And in a short time she was already out of the band, and with her also Naomi... Without any reason.

Naomi hardly knew anything about the three boys after that episode and began to miss Stuart a lot... All the joy that brought her and the smiles that only he gave to her, had now become a memory. She becoming a soul imive by everything...

𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮 (𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀) 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟱 - 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟬

All the confidence that she had accumulated over the years, swept away in a short time, only the music and her art and music study at school remained to fill the void... Which led her to learn how to play the guitar and the bass too!

She had a particular way to distinguish and play the two instruments: the guitar played it with the right hand, while the bass played it with the left and.

She was start to apionate about Rock, Pop and Funky genre foo, but she was absolutely in love with Rock, the style too~

It seemed to be going well, so much so that she was also recovering and... She was almost forgetting about him... But in one day she had a whole flashback of his adolescence years at the mere sight of a look, that of Cracker.

She was back and this time also to ruin her life too... on the same day Naomi was kicked out of the band she had been in for years and replaced by her Ex bestfriend.

This led the girl to a mental breakdown, music and studies were now out of her mind, and... the family wasn't different...

After returning home, was no exception... It wasn't long ago that her adoptive father lost his job in those few days, thus becoming an unemployed in all respects... By now with hopes lost, ended up collapsing in a mental-breakdown, leading him to drugs and alcohol tenders, making him become also more violent. More than once, in fact, he abused both of the girls in the family, his wife and his daughter, Naomi herself... The mother in particular, who from the bad conditions he made at her, she was taken to an emergency to the hospital and kept under observation and away from him as much as possible... She is currently still in a coma...

Naomi, now out of her mind, literally run away from home, abandoning family and also school... There was no way out except that, she no longer felt at home on either side... No more.

Like home a bridge and continuous shows on the street, she lived a few years in those terrible conditions...

She began to look for work too, until she reduced herself from a limited-time maid in to a bar...

Not that later, around the same mouth, when she found good : with work and a place to sleep more comfortably, she re the old days again and she try to the name that the boys wanted to give to the group. After a good search she managed to find them, she finally managed to find the Gorillaz!

With a determination she hasn't had in years, Naomi took a taxi to what was Kong Studios. Once in front of the gate she didn't know exactly what to do- she paced back and forth in front of the gate, until she heard a familiar voice coming from the intercom. By the time she turned her gaze towards it, there was no one left, but... The huge gate began to open. Taken by the agitation, she remained motionless until it opened completely, and from behind it...

She literally saw Stuart run out of the big building and start to run into her... She didn't know what to do, she watched him as he got closer and closer, until he came to her and... bringing her into his arms for a warm, tight embrace. Naomi still didn't believe it, but she returned the hug, starting to cry on his shoulder, she did not know if it was for happiness or out of relief after all these years of suffering, but at that moment she just wanted to let off steam and... Now she feel so happy again...

It didn't take long from that moment but many things happened, especially for Naomi, who in addition to meeting stuart she also meet Russel and Murdoc again, even if with the latter didn't share that great emotion, while with Russel she was like finding her big brother again, and the one who was beside her for everything and everyone. As soon as she saw him she jumped into his big arms, exactly like years ago when they always met in the afternoons after school, but this time it was different, they both missed each other... You could tell it was the first time for Murdoc and Stuart to see Russel in such a good mood after all this years. Naomi also became aware of their new member, new guitarist, Noodle. Not so new since they have already composed an album together and and were ready for the second one. With Noodle she was unable to have full dialogue, she spoke English and not and... It took her time to get used to it, but she seemed a good person and with esteemed innate talent despite her young age, Naomi had pride in her, she esteemed her for this.

It was a very special time anyway, since she's been back with them everything seems to be as before, perfectly magnificent and maybe even a new family for her, and without Paula everything was perfect, also because... Stuart started to acting stranger more than usual, if before he just pulled down her hood, now he hugged her for everything out of nowhere, and sometimes for no reason- she didn't know how to react to these s and act of him, even for fear of not ruining their friendship...

𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟯 (𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵) 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟬 - 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳

Everything seemed to be going so well and perfectly, until, like any happy story, there is always a fall... The first was the alleged disappearance of Noodle while they were making a music video of their song from the second album they had released. Later on, the separated and the same for Naomi, again... Although lately she was getting closer and closer to Stuart, who after Noodle's death was no longer the same as before, the same was for Russel... Who cared nothing about it was Murdoc who showed no empathy... Or so it seemed-

And as if there were no 2 without 3, here it is that a damned new life begins again!

Naomi has adapted once again, completely changing her job, even improvising mechanics... In recent years she has shared most of her time with the owner of the workshop in which she worked, an elderly man, called Mr. Walter now in his eighties who in exchange for help in his work gave the girl a stay... In collaboration with him was his wife, Mrs. Walter, who worked in a club, a motorcycle bar, in a very country style, right there in front of the garage of her husband, where Naomi would work.

She didn't hesitate and accepted without thinking twice, thus finally having a house to stay in, a small cabin above the garage and a job to do and earn some money. To have some extra money, Naomi also find herself available to work as a waitress in this bar and occasionally even to perform on the small stage inside the structure...

A few years later, a new customer showed up in Walter's workshop. A black Chevrolet Camaro "Stylo", with a star decoration on the two sides and a white roof, makes an appearance in the garage. And to make matters worse, familiar faces show themselves once they got out of the car right in front of Naomi for the same time, again...

She didn't believe her eyes, she was petrified where she was, dropping the tools she had at that moment from her hands, making the elderly man behind her confused and thus having everyone's attention.

"Naomi! oh my bloody hell, is it really you? How long we haven't seen each oth-"

Murdoc said, closing the car door with little grace, then approaching her with open arms and a smirk on his face, but the time to exchange a hug that she hits him with a wrench, not happy to see him after all this time. She leaves the tool on the toolbox, backing away from his body ed out on the floor, she starts to turn, but she finds herself with a shotgun pointed right at her face. A cyborg with feminine features was pointing at her weapon straight, she.... She really look like Noodle... But Naomi recognized that she wasn't a real because of the various bullet holes she had, especially the one on her forehead...

"N-NO! Please put the weapon down! Instead, check out on Murdoc and how is he doing, I... I'll take care of her..."

She hadn't heard his voice for years, it had happened to her several times to hear him on the radio in one of their songs, but having him there gave her a feeling of calm, happiness, but... Also feeling of "melancholy".

Look at each other for a while, until she notices that he has several bruises and still those black eyes, eyes asking for

help...

The time that Naomi could tell or do something f9r him that Walter called her to him, and in the meantime Murdoc had also recovered from the blow, helped by his cyborg. But the Stuart's gaze remained on her, who was going around the workshop for various pieces of tools that were needed to repair Murdoc's car...

At the end of the day Murdoc's patience was at the limit, he took over the keys and in the meantime they were repairing the car, he jumped in and maneuvered to leave. The car wasn't in its best appearance, but Murdoc didn't care.

2-D was hesitant to reach him outside the garage, his gaze returns on Naomi again, who worked the whole day on the car. Both of them exchange other looks, until the cyborg takes him by his arm and quickly drags to the car, chased by a furious Walter who wanted his money... Naomi, without any hesitation, takes the first bike that was in the workshop and begins to follow them. She begin to catch up with them and in the meantime of her run, she noticed that she wasn't the only one to run after them. There was another car, it looked like a red low pickup, which tried several times to stop the three characters inside the black Camaro, even starting to shoot at them. Naomi was scared for a moment by hear the shots but... She couldn't let him do that, plus if she stopped him, she'd have a better chance of catching up with them and getting the money they had to pay. And madly, she approaching with the bike, then jump and throws herself on the back of the pickup, surprising the driver who was chasing- Murdoc and Stuart, they too noticed the scene... In fact, with a little on panic, it was Stuart who jumped on Murdoc and made their vehicle skid, making the only pursuer to avoid shooting Naomi, the one who in the meantime reached the cockpit. She entered after giving a firm kick to the rear window, thus entering the vehicle and starting to challenge herself with what looked like Bruce Willis. She managed to stun him and take control of the vehicle for a while... Both Murdoc and 2D watched the whole scene, but so distracted that they took flight down the ravine- Naomi don't believe it, immediately stopped the car and looked out over the ravine, however noticing the cat "drive" away and transform into a submarine before it reached the depths of the sea... So she leave behind the ravine a still stunned Bruce, and taking his car and went back all the way back, then take the bike too, putting it on the pickup that she left on the street...

Other months , and Naomi had prepared herself for this day, it was no coincidence that she had seen him again, then she put on the idea of ​​finding and helping him, thus repair a motorcycle for herself, with which she reached the first goal to reach them, and after a long journey she reached a first available submarine, which had to reach Plastic Beach, the island where people say that Gorillaz have created a new studio. So Naomi got on this submarine with the driver, Daley...

Together they set out to reach this island. During the trip Daley tried to several times with the Beach and whenever it was Stuart who connected and answer, who couldn't help but notice Naomi, to whom he repeated several times, maybe also asking for help-

"Talk To Me!"

But at that moment Naomi didn't know exactly what to do... She was also about to ask why she was there, but yeeh, she was there only for him, but... Why did they behave like that in the workshop, weren't they friends? It is true that she shouldn't have hit Murdoc that way, but they had no excuses, especially Stuart who in the meantime had let himself be carried away instead of rebelling and explaining himself.

The moment they arrived, they found an unexpected scene, a pirate ship that was literally attacking the Plastic Beach where they were arriving. The first thing that came to Naomi's mind was obviously everyone's well being, especially for Stuart. She immediately exited the submarine and made his way up to the dock and run toward the structure. Trying to avoid as many fights as possible, especially Cyborg Noodle, who was busy shooting the ship... Naomi took advantage of it and entered the facility, where she began searching every room of that place had, until she came to what appeared to be a basement. With the first object she found, in this case a brick, she managed to break the lock and open the door... And, it's looked like a bedroom, a very messy and small one. Naomi then literally saw 2D at the bottom of the room, near the window overlooking the seabed... So she approached him and try to get his attention... He was terrified, with the mask on his face and shaking like a leaf, it seemed that something outside the window was terrifying him. In fact, looking out, Naomi saw a huge figure of a whale approaching. Instinctively, Naomi grabbed Stuart by his wrist and dragged him out of there, saying nothing and they reached the outside of the facility as quickly as possible, and in the meantime... Once they were out, all eyes were on a giant Russel and one that looked like the real Noodle with him... In such a confused and messy scene, Naomi immediately pulled out of there, returning to the submarine where Daley waited all the time, and only as they left, Naomi noticed 2D at the edge of the dock watching the submarine go away...

Doing all this for some money wasn't the case and... Naomi absolutely needed time to think about it, did she really have to stay with them when she had a job and a new real family at her new home...?

It had been too many years since that time at Plastic Beach, and yet... Naomi was still asking to herself why she didn't stay and clarify everything, but... On the other one hand, she was very afraid, already the situation in the band was very messed up, and she didn't want to get it worse... with her problems and little confidence that theirs had had lately... After all Naomi was getting along, she was continuing to live a good and happy life at Walter's after all, when however... After less than a few years, Mrs. Walter ed away, she died of an incurable disease and that was impossible to bear given her old age.. Another hard blow for Naomi, it was as if she had lost a mother... Which she had become by now, and this made her memories with her real mother, who too she was her in those horrible condition, and we talk about few years ago, and all because of his father, the cause of why she ran away from home too... So many bad memories and bad experiences that she couldn't take anymore... She also started writing various songs, a lot of lyrics, many of these were sadly, she also write a song in memory of Mrs. Walter, songs that told of her experiences, depression and moments without control. From these songs she came out on a new small album and managed to do small concerts in the car of Walter's... This became a ion-obsession, so much so that she created more and more songs and the concerts became bigger and bigger and with stages even beyond America...

She was gradually building a career, even if it was all based on a life of despair and full of regrets of a woman, also the contribution more and more to losing control, and letting go of what she had inside herself... Like 'other person, a presence that she has never controlled since childhood and that has ruined her childhood... Maybe also the reason why she is alive and living... And without realizing it, sometimes she left total control to the demon inside her, it also happened several times at concerts of some of her tours, many fans believed that it was an organized thing, until various problems are found... Which brings her to the greatest depressed state of her life...

All this mess led her to bad reviews as well as good, her genre and her music are highly appreciated, but her figure with this demon of hers were not at all, the fans wanted to help her, but at the same time she scared them, and how if that weren't enough, she began to have more and more little with Mr. Walter, who since Mrs. Walter's death, he has never been the same... Exactly like Naomi, who after these many misfortunes, she's reduced herself in to independence of drugs and alcohol, especially alcohol, often ending up in nightclubs and bars... And on one of the evenings, unfortunately for her, while she was doing her usual shots of alcohol, Naomi pray so much that what she saw was a hallucination, but it wasn't... They were literally Stuart, aka 2D, dancing with a now grown up Noodle... and before they could notice her, Naomi immediately left the club, called a taxi and staggered in the car... And when she began to leave, she then saw Stuart leave the club by coming out from the entrance... It really seemed that Naomi had shown up when she was leaving, but was able to leave as fast ad possibile. She wasn't ready to meet them, not yet, specially him! She didn't want to be seen in those conditions, which led her to think that she really needed help from someone... And who better than an opsychologist could help her...?

It was late May days, the summer was now here, other years have ed and it was time for a nice break, sea and beach were waiting for us under the large umbrellas, or at least... What it might have seemed but not for Naomi, who after various sessions by an opsychologist and various visits for drug and alcohol intoxication, she was recommended a nice, relaxing and long walk along the sea... She still tried to cheer up a little smile as she parked the bike not so far from the Santa Monica pier... Where would she take her dearest relaxing walk... People say that the air and the breeze of the sea would help her relax and clear her mind out.

But there is someone else who notices her presence before she could do, and that someone seem our dear drummer, Russel, who sees his little "sister" again after a couple of years! He then sees Naomi stop a little further in front of an ice cream kiosk, his gaze remains on Naomi figure, but... he starts to grumble as soon as he hears 2-D getting closer on his roller skates, singing with all his gear out, as if he was living his best life on this world, which he did make Russel so nervous about it-

"How can be that man so happy, it's better if I make him waking up a little..."

The drummer thought and in a moment he brings his foot forward, making trip Stuart on it, who was flying for so many meters and then fall down on the ground.

Once he get up, the two of them exchange only glances, but it could be understood that 2D goes from confused to a completely resigned look... As if Russel had brought him down from the clouds... Then! He starts to move away from him, but losing all his skills and desire to live that sunny day, and in a few meters, he finds himself on the ground again, but this time he staying there on his stomach, and he had no intention of getting up this time. The fact is that where it had fallen, it was very close to our dear girl, in fact she hear like a thump behind her and immediately turned towards it, lake every person that was there.

And like a deja vu... Naomi was petrified, a mixture of emotions between fear and... happiness challenged her, if she had to leave or get closer to help him... But this time, after a big, long and deep breath, she took courage and walked towards him making her way in front of him, but... 2-D didn't notice her at all, being that he still had his head bowed, with his face hidden in his arms...

"Hey...! D-do you want to stay there on the ground for a while, or... Do you need a hand?"

Naomi said, holding out her trembling hand towards him, a lot of emotion ran through her whole body, when she waiting for his reaction.

"Na-Naomi...?! Ho-how are you he-... Yo-you have to-"

To hear her name spoken by him again, gave a shiver down her spine that made her tremble calm down, seeing him in that state made her think of all the old times... And with her eyes now shiny and a smile that gradually formed, brought her hand closest to him.

"Just shut up and take my hand, Stuart!"

She can't stop smiling, once he grabbed her hand she helped him to get up, to balance him on his roller skates and put him back in order by put the headphones in place... Naomi couldn't believe that she was finally in front of him and she had spoken to him after a long time...

"H-... here we go, so much better now, are you okay Stuart? Stu-Stuart...?"

She looked at him carefully and... She couldn't help but blush a little, strange but true he kept staring at her badly, as if he had seen a ghost in front of him... And one thing that Naomi noticed was his eyes... From a total deep black eyes, they change the color in a white one, they lit up if like they had seen the light of paradise... She couldn't tell if it was normal or not but, Naomi couldn't help but notice it, which led her to freeze again in place and cause her to look him straight in the eye with her sky-colored eyes.

"oh Nao'... I missed ya, you know it, don't ya...? Where the hell have you been up to now?"
