How I draw eyes :eyes: :sparkles: :sparkles:

Hi guys! 2 years ago, I made a Eyes drawing tutorial . And it was kinda cringy since I used too much lightning and effects. So I decided to redo it :joy: But I’m not gonna call this a “tutorial” though ...Cuz I’m not an expert artist or anything xD This is just how I draw eyes step by step~

Sooooo, let’s get started shall we ;)

Before coloring the eye, I colored the skin first

Then, I created a layer on top of the skin layer. I clipped it and colored the sclera

After that, I started to work on the eye. These are the colors that I used

Base color for da eyeeee

I created another layer on top of the base, clipped it then started to shade the eye, as well as drawing the pupil (I should have choose darker color for the pupil...)

When I finished shading, I created a layer named “Highlight”, put it below the shade layer then I started working on it

To make the highlight looks more pretty, I choose “Add” mode and reduced the opacity

Additionally, I put a new layer on top of the shade layer, and it called “Effects”. I choose add mode, lower the opacity just like the highlight one

I started decorating the eye by creating a layer on top of the effects one, drew heart and star in it UwU The mode is still “Add” but the opacity is brighter than the “Highlight” and “Effects”

Furthermore, I put a new layer on top of the lineart and added white circles

Lastly, is the lightning. I put its layer on top of the “Decoration”, used watercolor (wet) I picked purple and blue for this~

And yeahhhh, That’s it. I added the blush for the character after finishing the eye ;)
