I was watching Vit12 and he mentioned Foreground (if that's how you spell it) A lot and I was wondering what it is since I ed the editor 5 months ago.

There's background, middle ground and foreground. Background is everything that's behind the player, middle ground is everything that's on the same layer as the player (for example, generally all of the structures and gameplay that you interact with is the middle ground) and foreground is everything that's in front of the player, so typically you would be covered by it
Notice how you can't see yourself or the gameplay on this screenshot because of that silhouette? That's because it's in the foreground. If you watch a video of white space, in the first half you'll see a lot of text and random debris flying past the player, and it is scattered across all 3 layers. Everything that seems like it's closer to the hypothetical "camera" than the player is technically the foreground

Set the z layer of whatever you want to be in the foreground to anything from t1 and t4 and if you wanna add a parallax effect you can make it slide to the left with a move trigger

I'm guessing I use a high Z layer

Every T layer is above the player and every B layer is below
Did you watch a Level Editor Video?
Yes. Apparently, people think everyone knows how to do it. I think it is the objects that cover the player (Example: Firework Chains, Avernus Dragon, all of Killbot) but I'm not sure.
