This Abyss deserves to [REDACTED]

I’m giving up.

Y’all know what I had to do to even get THIS accomplished? Team one wasn’t the problem. But team two and the AWFUL Natlan enemies DEFINITELY were.

Well, for starters;

I had to move Furina to team two to make up for the damage we WERENT doing

I had to get Collei to level 78 on the OFF FIELD BURN SET and steal gorou’s ER weapon from him to have her reliably apply enough dendro to matter (because Baizhu and Yaoyao weren’t cutting it)

I had to make Benny the secondary DPS with a copy of Jade cutter

AND instead of using double dendro or double pyro for the infinitely better buffs I had to dig ororon from his dps build and put him into a grave and slap him on there too for the sole purpose of the nightsoul shields making me wish I was dead.

This abyss is so Kinich’centric it’s ACTUALLY unacceptable.

ZERO other Dendro characters could reliably clear this within any REASONABLE amount of time because of the Natlan enemies. And taking into the the abyss buff, that being skill damage, 90% of other dendro s don’t do their best damage on only their skill. My DPS Baizhu didn’t stand a CHANCE here, and he’s C1 with a ratio of 70 over 176.

Looking at the archive of Dendro characters, the ONLY Dendro character I can see maybe clearing this shit besides Kinich is Emile. But first off, let me remind you of the fact MOST people’s Emile’s (who aren’t whales) are either

A: Purely

Or

B: THEY DIDNT F’N PULL HER. Because NO one told them Kinich was a burn unit that was coming out and almost NO one ran burn teams beforehand.

not to mention, she’s not from Natlan anyway so the shields taking 4 business days to go down is STILL A PROBLEM.

A list of Dendro characters that could MAYBE possibly clear this Abyss in order from most to least likely NOT including Kinich.

Please note I made this list based off the idea they’d run with Mav. On the team to make up for the lack of dumb Natlan mechanics.

1: Emile. Given the fact she’s MEANT for burn related reactions, I feel like she has the best chance but you’d 100% have to have her with either a DPS build with ER s or FULL ER with a different DPS.

2: Collei. ONLY in the event she’s used as an off field burn with her burst. So you can have constant uptime on her relatively okay Dendro application. Which pains me to say, because I definitely don’t like her far more than most Dendro characters.

3: Baizhu Now just because MINE couldn’t clear doesn’t mean that someone else’s couldn’t, for example if you made him high on ER and had him spam his burst at C2; The damage dealt by his Burt sprites are considered Elemntal skill damage. Which plays into the effects of the abyss and can be triggered every 5 seconds. If you wanted to get REAL funky with it you could put him on Furina’s skill damage set and watch him do a bunch of damage while he’s not on the field. Because of his usually high HP threshold you’d probably be able to tank at least a few hits as well with him.

4: Nahida

I’ve read through Nahida’s cons, and the only way I can see her properly shining doing this is if you were running DPS. Her skill doesn’t apply Dendro at a fast enough rate, even with cons, so she’d have to be on field most of the time.

5: Thignari

His skill damage wouldn’t count here, given the fact that basically does nothing. But his charged attacks at C6 do revive cooldown and extra damage, maybe if you tried REALLY hard you’d be able to clutch it if he did enough damage but that goes back to my usual point. Not EVERYONE has the luxury of 5 star weapons made specifically for THAT character with the most perfect artifacts in existence.

6: Alhal

He just doesn’t apply enough Dendro frequently enough. Even with an off field applicator like YaoYao he’d definitely struggle. Maybe if you slapped him with that C2 Baizhu from earlier he could do it, but that defeats the purpose yet again. I’m pretty sure also, if my understanding of how Alhal works is right, you need multiple dendro reactions to get his mirror stacks, not just one.

7: Kirara, YaoYao & Kaveh

There’s the problem of them not applying enough of their element returning yet again. Kaveh is also meant to be a bloom unit, so, good luck with that one. Kirara barely applies dendro at all and is mostly a shield bot, and for Yao to apply dendro at a fast rate she HAS to be on field. The only way you’re doing it with these characters is an off field Mav. C6 as a , or if the rest of the team is All specific C6 five stars like Emile or Nahida, but then again the four star isn’t exactly doing ANY of the damage then are they? And you’re probably already a whale so, you could have probably cleared with just Mav and the s.

Hoyo if you’re reading this by some minuscule chance,
