AR60 CELEBRATION+ Keqing Showcase

Hey guys! I'm here today to celebrate my ar60 ascension :'D it took much longer than I expected, like a year and a half, but I finally made it!

I started playing genshin on the release date, 28th September 2020. Ironically enough, I had not heard about genshin before this very day. It was my birthday two days prior to the release, and I got some nice pocket money. So I thought, hey let's check the PlayStation Store to see if there's anything nice I can buy. That's when I saw genshin... I saw it and thought, oo anime! So naturally I ed it, little did I know it came out that very day. .. And that it was a gacha game fml :sob: . At this time I already had an obsession with another gacha game, fate grand order... I really did not need another gacha game to take over my soul, but here I am even more obsessed over genshin impact than I was over fgo..

I'll just be showcasing my progress at ar60 now!

These are the characters that I have at AR60! Honestly, I only just got Mona today from one of my three wishes thanks to the ascension, finally got a gold got that :sob: after nearly two years of playing I finally got her! Sadly, I don't have enough materials to level her yet though so she's stuck at 50 for this week.

Having most the characters already, I'd still love to get the remaining current 3 released characters. Kokomi I sadly lost to twice. Shenhe and yoimiya, I skipped both of them, but I'm going for yoimiya with the next banner, good thing I'm on guaranteed now!

My first 5 star characters and weapons

Ah yes, back when the game first came out there wasn't a huge variety. I wanting venti and diluc the most. Venti because I absolutely loved his trial and the fact that he was an archon, and diluc because.... Everyone wanted diluc, I did not know a single person who did not want diluc at that time, it was insane.

Unfortunately I did not get diluc. But I did get Venti, by winning my very first 50/50 at ar36! It was also a lucky one as I was only at 66 pity. I treasured venti so much and used him for basically everything. He immediately became my main as soon as I got him.

My first five star weapon didn't happen until around December of that year, it was aquila favonia. At that time I thinking to myself, does keqing perhaps have an obsession with me? Because I got her about a day or two before that, and at the time that was her bis weapon. Ah yes keqing, we go a long way together....

My mains

I actually have three mains! My oldest and probably favourite one is childe though. I when I first saw childe in the story, and when I realized he uses a bow and two swords, my mind just screamed "EMIYA" and still being in my fgo obsession phase with EMIYA as one of my favourite characters, he immediately caught my attention and I knew I needed him. But then zhongli was also announced and everyone was like "NOOOoOO go for zhongli he be better than childe" and I got so conflicted and thought yeah... Maybe I should just skip childe because everyone says so. So the big day came and it was the 11th of November. I played his trial and was like, NOPE... I'M GOING ALL OUT FOR THIS MAN SCREW ZHONGLI! And that's when I spent my first bit of money on genshin only to lose the 50/50 , and that... Was unfortunate. My heart was shattered because I wanted, needed childe and I just lost it to my least favourite 5 star character Jean. I had a thing against Jean because she looked like artoria. Needless to say, I was salty, for a whole week. At this time I was already ar45 but was honestly too salty to go on genshin much, but... I haven't done the ascension quest yet, so I saw those primo gems and got really eager to use them so I just did the quest and immediately wished. Then I saw a golden rainbow... AND IT WAS CHILDE.... AHH... at 24 pity after I got Jean, I was so happy that I thanked this man for coming home by torturing myself as soon as the heart of depth domain came out, for only about 10 months, ya know just... Okay, point being, I loved childe, and I still do. I'd sacrifice a years worth of resin just for him, and that isn't as good as it seems.

So my second main is hu tao. Unfortunately, I lost the 50/50 on her first banner to diluc, finally and never ended up using him. So she came back last year and I got her c1 somehow, and staff of homa, I was pretty happy. She's... Op that's all I can say. And really fun, I would not trade her for anyone except a c6 childe, but that's it

Third main is ayaka. I always wanted her since the beginning of the game, in fact at 1.0 there was this rumour going around that if you reach ar42 before 1.1, you'll get her in the main for free like we got Barbara. So I speed ran the game to get to ar45 the day before 1.1 . Disappointed to say, that was a huge lie. But I was pretty excited for her till her release. Although I didn't expect myself to enjoy her as much as I do. I may even enjoy her play style more than c0 childes' play style, and that's really saying something.

Here are their builds! I have all of their weapons except childes.... Rip childe and his skyward harp, but I'm getting thundering pulse for him soon so that's great!

Obviously hu tao is extremely op everyone knows this, but I do feel like childe and ayaka are often overlooked in of meta, raw dmg speaking. Obviously, I've put quite an amount of investment into their builds to make them on equal footing with my hu tao, but I do think it was worth it and they do match up pretty well, if not even better than her considering their attacks are a bit different to hu taos. My strongest out of them is probably childe, which I'm really happy about. I just wish I actually had a better weapon for him at this point, but I'll be patient a bit longer. Please have a rerun childe I beg you :sob:

Keqing

okay I know I always spread hate about keqing, because she's genuinely quite bad but... She's probably my strongest character that's not part of my mains. I just thought I'd put her in here since she's the character who's haunted me the most since day 1 of getting this game, so I'll show a little bit of appreciation to her. She is only c4 right now, I'm hoping to just get c6 and never see her again, but we can only hope. Here's a short video of her damage

I'm not using bennett since he's c6 and ruins keking sadness don't judge my stupidity :joy: and my mona is only level 50 please just... Take note of this, I literally got her an hour ago🥲

On a side note, don't let this encourage you to build keqing because she's really not worth it unless you REALLY like her or have like c4. Her c4 really increased her dmg value, I can actually tell the difference when I got that. But c0, not worth it imo, unless again, you really like keqing.

Anyway, now that I have mona I may post more character showcases, I can't wait to test her with hu tao I'm really excited :eyes: but I've got to level her first! Rip level 50 and 1 talent skill, but hey it's a start!
