Caution With eBay

Since there are a lot of people here who get clothes and wigs and makeup via eBay I just had an issue and eBay won't do anything.

You have overseas sellers claiming they are in the US or UK for example and they are out of China. There's nothing wrong with products from China but a product that I paid for with a higher domestic price from a "verified US seller" when it shipped it said six weeks from Oklahoma to Florida with an origin in China.....

Second is Amazon drop shippers on eBay, They are one of two different sellers.

Either selling as domestic sellers and are overseas drop shipping via Amazon overseas or domestic sellers going through Amazon.

The problem with that is I got several wrong products and the seller wanted to use Amazon return policy and not eBay return policy, meaning they wanted to charge a return fee of 10.00 USD per ITEM in the order which would have meant a 100.00 USD return fee for 65.00 USD on merchandise.

eBay customer service said merchants are allowed to charge return fees even if the item is unopened. Luckily I used my Discover card and filed a dispute.

Amazon has a better return policy you just call them explain the situation and they will email you a return label to send it back for full refund. The only exception is electronics.

So buyer beware on eBay. My suggestion if you're going to use eBay, use a credit card so you can dispute it and never use checking or savings to pay for eBay stuff.
