In Carrefour parking (I saw this car there) I found this VW Variant of the 70's, and detail: It has not been restored, even though it does not have the black plate (when a car has black plate here in Brazil it means that it ed in A test of authenticity to see if the car is original, if the car is 90% original, it gets the black plate).
The VW Variant is the other car derived from the Beetle, and Variant has a 1600 rear engine air-cooled, rear-wheel drive being one-pushed by a 4-speed transmission.
Do you know the Chevy Corvair? So the engine of this car is very similar, even when looking at the hood! And as if you were seeing a 4-cylinder version of the Corvair! But... with a different body.
This car, don't have rust! It's incredible! Because where I live rain every week, and apparently this car is used every day! This is a exemple of conservation!
