First off,I might be a little bias, cause my daily is a 1992 Vectra GT, but I think that the Lotus Carlton is the best sleeper ever made.

What it basically is, is an Opel Omega modified by Lotus. And it almost looks like a normal Opel Omega, too (which is a popular beginner drift car in where I live, btw). Only big exterior differences between this and the normal Omega are the rear spoiler and a body kit. And also the badge, but you can just slap an Opel badge on there instead if it needs to be more sleepery. Maybe even go as far as uninstalling the spoiler and possibly get rid if the body kit (idk if you can do that).

The biggest difference tough is the engine. It’s a 24 valve 3.6 liter twinturbo inline 6. Paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and rwd makes it a rather fun car. It made 377 bhp, 0-60 mph happened in 5.1 seconds and it had a top speed of 176 mph. Quite good for 1990 I would say.

Sadly only 950 were made. They planned to make more, but it didn’t sell very well. It did cost almost 50 000 pounds when it was new. Now it’s a collectors car so rip owning one.
While I think it’s the best sleeper, it’s not my favourite. I still love the Mazdaspeed 6 more cuz adding awd to a fwd car is cooler imo.
