I have commissioned someone a while ago and unfortunately I haven't seen any signs of progress since the payment was done :/
I mean, if they are busy they should able to tell the buyer right away, instead of just fading away. I did not even receive a sketch or something, I feel like I got cut off and my money is gone. It's not that that difficult to draw some lines to show the buyer that an artist is working on it. And sketches don't really take long.
I made this in under an hour and it wasn't really difficult to create. So I don't see the problem lol

I have the same with art trades and selling adoptables for art.
I've done trades with artists and never got stuff in return and it has been longer than a year by now. And I've sold adoptables for art. Never got the art too. So wonderful ;U

I've been in that situation, and it sucks not knowing whether you've been scammed, or they're just taking a while.
