Hello Again, FA! (THROWBACKS & ASPEN)

Hello hello, broskis! After a looooong hiatus from this app, I wanna say that I think I’m finally back! I’ve missed a lot over the past few months for SURE but so be it 🤷 All that matters is I’m back now with a new and improved Aspen! Time to check him out along with some throwbacks to the good old days :sunglasses:

Here he his! The one and only stinky boy’s new design! He was redesigned by the lovely SAINTBUTCHER and you can find said new design & ref over on Aspen’s wiki! This first one is a half body/headshot I made of my stinky boy smoking a cigarette! This was the first piece I made with Aspen’s new looks and it honestly got me so hooked on drawing him- his complex patterning is sOOO MUCH FUN TO DRAW ;;

This next piece is of Aspen and his s/o, Nirvana! Funny enough, my friend and owner of Nirvana had their character redesigned by Saintbutcher recently as well! Of course I had to take this opportunity to draw up these newly fashioned boys together! And of course their colors compliment each other’s, I’m in loVE <3

This next piece is probably my new favorite and shows of Aspen :sparkles: multitasking :sparkles: , riding his favorite board and smoking a quick cigarette :moyai: I drew this piece at 5 AM on no sleep but I absolutely LOVE it’s vibes!! The mullet in the wind just gets me-

And last but not least…

The Aspen LONGBOARD!!! After months and months of not knowing what in the WORLD to paint on my longboard, Aspen’s redesign had inspired me! I ended up deciding on creating a cubism piece of Aspen and slapping it on my board with the help of some acrylic paint and markers. After a long day of sitting on my bedroom floor hunched over this thing, I’m proud to say I’m kinda happy with how it turned out- Aspen’s natural colors match quite well with the bamboo board and the wonky shape of the piece fits on their nicely! Def makes me wanna paint more boards in the future~ :rat: 🛹 :sparkles:

THROWBACKS…

Aspen’s design has come a long way over the past couple of years. As a character meant to represent myself, each redesign, although seemingly insignificant to most, means a whole lot to me. He has been my means of escapism from a lot of crap from high school drama to anxiety-filled college days to life’s daily struggles. I’m so thankful to be able to be a part of this community and it’s great . I hope to continue to grow alongside my stinky boy Aspen along with being able to reminisce on the great past memories of this app and it’s s. :^)

Thanks a bunch to whoever managed to read this far! And thanks even more to the wonderful people I’ve met on here and the amazing memories that’ll always stick with me. Although many of you have moved on from this place, just know I’ll never forget you <3
