It's time to take out the poppy plants.

Not because I want to, but probably because I should.

And totally not because someone wanted me to take it out because it's an eye sore and they never liked may of my plants. I mean what? CAUGH.

It was a matter of time anyway.

The big poppy plant was already all dried out and dead.

While the other one was still pumping out TONS of flowers and was still alive.

I was told this type of Poppy plant is a perennial.

And the type to get opium from so.. oop :sob:

It was time to take them out!

I moved the rocks out of the way, and tried to dig around where it came out of the ground and hope to find a rhizome.

But not at all haha

The stems easily broke off, and I didn't want to dig any further to find the possible rhizomes because it was DIRECTLY next to a path, so I didn't want to disturb anything that would off put it.

It is sad to remove the Poppy plant that was still live. It bloomed gorgeous red flowers everyday so, that made me happy :).

And the happiest thing was, the other grew so big, thick, and like a real poppy plant. Just like how I wanna grow every plant.
