How are some people good at art, like I have this and I dont know what else to do.

Art ( at least for me ) is about understanding what something looks like in your head, then drawing it on paper. Learning how to draw takes alot of understanding and design awareness and most people dont get good at drawing till they are older.

If you wanna get better at drawing, I suggest looking at artists you like, and trying to see how they draw.

If your going for a more anime style, I suggest watching alot of anime, reading manga d: and observing how they draw things, like anatomy, clothing, shading and such. At one point in your life you will reach a point where everything will just click, and you will simply know how to draw things. I have been drawing for 6 years, and while my art is far from perfect to my taste, I'm still very young and have plenty of time to observe and get better.

Basically, just look at artists you like, read comics and manga, watch anime, observe them closely and try and copy their style! And it helps to trace art aswell, with permission of course, or if you never post it or show it to anyone. Art takes time, it grows with you and you will have your ups and downs, just know that you dont always have to be drawing to get better, it's okay to take a break, that doesnt mean your a bad artist, what matters most is your happiness.
