This is hard as I like both schools, however my favourite school would have to be... Iwatobi!

Why is it my favourite school?

1. It's less competitive

In my opinion, Iwatobi is a lot less competitive in their swimming than Samezuka. In Samezuka, one of their main focuses is competitive swimming and so wants all their swimmers to be at the best of their ability and so trains the team pretty intensely. Iwatobi, however, wants everyone to swim at their own pace with their own style, as long as they follow the regimen. This shows that the Iwatobi school and swimming team are a little bit more relaxed, which means that the team have less stress put onto them.

2. We see it more often

During the series, we hardly ever see the Samezuka school apart from watching the Samezuka swim team train. This means that some people may feel more of a connection to Iwatobi since we see it more often and so know the school a lot better.
