Character Tier List |+explanations|

So I've seen a lot of these tier lists on here, but I wanted to add a short explanation for each character I chose! I hope you enjoy!

{S tier}

Makoto| Makoto has always been my favorite character. His backstory, his love of animals and kids, his after high school job choice, how cute his devotion is to Haru, all of it just drew me in. He's such a kind and sweet character, how could you not love him?

Rin| Like most people, I didn't like him much at first. The moment I really knew I loved his character, however, was when he took Haru to Australia. (I think that's where they went, it's been a while.) His interactions with his family and Haru, along with the bed gag, were just so great.

{A tier}

Nitori| God I love Nitori. He's such a kind spirited hard worker. His love for swimming and his team runs so deep and it's just *chefs kiss.* Nothing but love for Nitori here, I just wish he had more screen time.

Haru| Now we get to what everyone has been waiting for. How could you not love Haru? He's hilarious while being the most deadpan character there, he's very caring even if it isn't always clear, and you gotta it he's very pretty. I saved S tier for my top 2 characters, otherwise he would be there.

Nagisa| Here's another character I would've loved to put in S, however I did kind of find him annoying at first. I know, I know! But I love him now. He's such a positive light and Free wouldn't be the same without him.

{B tier}

Miho| Underrated doesn't even begin to describe this queen. Iwatobi Swim Club would be nothing without her. I love the gag she has with famous quotes a lot, too.

Gou| Another under rated character! Her design is adorable and I love her conflict between rooting for her brother and the team she manages.

Rei| He's my least favorite of the original Iwatobi Swim Club, but that doesn't mean I don't love him! I see him as almost a mirror to Iida from MHA. Watching him grow to love swimming was great.
