Alright I just want to preface this before we begin with a few things.
-My idea for this will absolutely never happen.
-Im also working off the idea that I have 100% creative control and a limitess budget in the scenario.
Alright cool, let's fuckin' do this
For Honor 2
Combat and Heroes:
Alright the biggest changes/improvements for this is that there are no heroes. The factions will still be kept but we're yeeting them all. Hear me out.
Each faction will have a base character, both Male and Female with the biggest difference more or less being cosmetic.
Move sets are tied to the player's weapon rather than to the character. Weapons falling into a number of categories.
Two handed:
Spears
War/Pole axes
War Hammers
Great Swords
Staffs
One Handed:
Long swords
Flails
War Hammers
Axes
Daggers
And various types of shields
Shields and daggers can also be used for duel wielding with other one handed weapons and some two handed weapons, Spears, Axes, Hammers.
Certains weapons will also have an alternate move set (half swording, all guard stances ect)
So executions/movesets will be tied to the players primary weapon. Weapons and armor will also have a weight system, determining the damage, movement/attack speed of the character.
Which brings us to
Armor and customization:
Armor will fall into 3 categories:
Light
Medium
Heavy
All pieces of gear can be mixed and matched with the total weight of the gear being a factor for the players weight.
Gear slots include, shoulders, head, forearms, legs, boots, chest, hands.
FH 1 "preset blueprints" can be use to recreate the look/feel of FH1 hereos as well.
Ornament slots (purely cosmetic) will include, helmet, shoulders, back, and waist and some on weapons. Some ornaments can be universally used amongst all factions while others are tied to a specific faction.
The World:
I think the best way to do this is the destiny route, well kinda.
FH2 will have 4 major sections (one for each faction) in a open world map where players can freely explore participating in PVE and PVP seamlessly.
All FH1 maps will be able to be explored.
The world will included NPC strongholds and bandit camps and the occasional patrol and dynamic factions fights. Pubs/taverns/temples/shops ect will act as weapons free social hubs where the player can group in teams of 4 and take on jobs such as escorting caravans to taking a mecerany contract earning money and finding loot throughout the world.
Players in the same faction that encounter eachother in free roam will be neutral by default (but can choose to engage one another) while players in opposing factions will be treated as hostile by default
Last but not least siege mode will act as this games raid with 16v16 combat with NPCs as well. These will have to be found in match making along with other classic game modes from FH1. Also gives us a horde/wave survival mode
Just fuckin hire me Ubisoft

No, sounds too much like an rpg. I like rpgs but not when EVERYTHING is an rpg
Edit: I wrote this before I saw the open world stuff. Thats even a bigger no. EVERY game is pushing open world, For Honor is a fighting game. Nothing more, nothing less. Imagine mortal combat, street fighter or whatever going open world.
I am always bummed out that I cant dislike a post, this would fit the bill
This so just Mordhau.
Hello Mordhau
open world mordhau
Goddamnit I should've just said that.
