shaolins deflect is the worst in game at its core. nuxias isn't guaranteed unless you guardswap, it isn't hard to do and you can trade with nearly all attacks for winning trade. if you were to make it unblockable it would need a damage nerf.

First and foremost I would like to thank you for taking the time to have a constructive conversation about this topic as I'm very ionate about it. I agree with you since shaolin's deflect only does about 25 damage however most cases your guaranteed the kick and then the light if you go into qi stance immediately. As a Nuxia main I have no problem with having a 30 damage deflect if it were guaranteed it would allow me to incorporate deflects a lot more in my gameplay. As an assassin mean it hurts to know that even Valkyries pseudo deflect is guaranteed but I can't be guaranteed one as Nuxia.

I also want to correct that orochi deflect light attack is 35 damage and I have no problem sacrificing 5 and damage for a guaranteed deflect

I go for deflect more than parry, so it's a force of habit. I see an attack, I dodge into it
