Drawing nightmares without sketching :hearts: (tutorial?)

Hello everyone :hearts:

Today I present a drawing that took literally only 2 hours to complete without breaks using only one art tool! Why? Cause I felt like it and I am a PRO artist ( and it's not at all because I'm on vacation and forgot all my art tools (CAUSE THAT WOULD BE A NO BRAINER))

Jokes aside, I decided to make this into a tutorial because this is the #1 practice I do to get out of art block. I've haven't been active here for nearly a month because of it so I decided to share how I did this with you all :3

~TUTORIAL ART BLOCK GUIDE THING ~

I start off with drawing something simple with my pen! (Using a pen really helped me because I know I won't be able to erase my work, I'll just use my mistakes for my own benefit!)

I start with eyes or the nose usually because those are the parts I want to stand out most in my style

I used the eyes as a focal point in a way, I simply started in the middle and went outwards (adding more details as I go)

Since there were four characters I was doing all at once it was hard to fit them all in near the end (I suggest doing one character at a time so lines don't overlap and look messy)

I also make some of the lines bulgier to make some of the features pop such as where the fur ends or the eyes, mouth, ect (it really makes things look clean and not as scribbly)

I also start with the claws when I was drawing the hands of the nightmare animatronics, I dunno I just found it easier, I know a lot of people struggle with hands/ paws, hopefully that's helpful

I honestly just did spikes for the hair. Nothing too complex :joy:

That's pretty much it! I might do a coloring tutorial later if I can get my hands on some actual art supplies.
