Chapter 1
08/11/87
Today was a weird day
It's already Thursday, and tomorrow will be fantastic.
Why will it be? Because tomorrow is the birthday of Chris, my best friend and we will celebrate it at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and have a lot of fun.
Tomorrow will be a great day.
–Go to sleep, darling –her mother said.
–It's okay, mam –Cassidy closed her journal, put it away, and went to sleep.
–Rest, my dear –her mother turned on the light night, turned off the light, and left.
The next day, Cassidy woke up, cleaned herself, and ate breakfast. After breakfast, she ran upstairs for her journal to start writing.

Today was a great day.
It's already Friday so I'll see my friends at the pizzeria and we'll have a great time with the animatronics and we'll eat lots of pizza and we'll dance and sing and then we'll all go home. It will be the best party of the year! Especially why Chris has a birthday today!
Tomorrow I plan to see Susie and Jeremy and we will go to the movies.
Without a doubt, the best week.
Cassidy closed her journal and got ready and got in the car.
What if you could change the past? And, more importantly, what would you change? But was it normal for a seven-year-old girl to wonder these things?
Cassidy was asking herself those same questions in the car going to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria for her best friend Chris Afton's birthday.
She was thinking about how fun it would be: eating pizza, seeing her friends, dancing, singing, watching animatronics, and so on.
Cassidy, just 7 years old, really enjoyed going to the pizzeria. For Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria there is no age, right?
Or that was one of the things Cassidy was thinking about in the car.
–What are you thinking about, darling?
–How much I love the pizzeria.
Cassidy was even closer to the pizzeria, and it was not strange to see her play with her gaze in the window, excited but calm she goes in the direction of her father with her head and looks at him.
-We are close? Cassidy asked
–A few blocks to go, darling –her father said, turning a corner.
–It's okay! –Cassidy said, throwing herself down and playing at the window again–. Let me know when!
They finally arrived and Cassidy ran down and hugged Chris tightly.
Friends entered the pizzeria and sat at the tables.
It was time to eat, and the pizzas were put on the tables and the children were eating while they enjoyed the show.
While two animatronics, more like costumes, moved around the room offering pizza, hugs and fun in front of the stage, whether it was dancing or sitting down to watch the animatronics play instruments and sing, but the children were focused on talking and eating.
–They are having fun? –Springbonnie asked.
–Of course! –the children shouted in unison.
Springbonnie went off to other tables, leaving the children alone.
The children left the tables and went to the front of the stage to sing and dance.
–This is really fun, Chris!
–I know! I know!
They danced and sang in unison with the animatronics. Fun, right?
The kids had a great time dancing, laughing, singing and eating pizza, while they were dancing Chris came up to Cassidy and hugged her.
–I thought you wouldn't come.
–Why would not? You are my best friend, Chris!
Cassidy and Chris held each other until Springbonnie came over.
–Come on kids, I have a little surprise for you from the staff.
The children followed him into a maintenance room and the man closed the door.
The man who closed the door looked at the children with his hands behind his back, he couldn't think of anything other than "What a great job I have!" Suddenly, he lit a light bulb hanging from the ceiling illuminating the room, while the children panicked.
"Don't worry kids, it won't be painful!" He said calmly.
–Don't be afraid, they will visit their dead family and pets in paradise! –the man said with a smile om his face.
No one has ever let out a single word with about that.
The children were silent; but not calm.
Sweating from the fear of being there with a... nice and optimistic man?
Can children escape? Can they run for their lives? No! The door was closed with a key that only the worker who is with them has.
Fearing what might happen, Cassidy stood in front of her friends challenging the man to do something to her first.
The man smiled.
