Now, after the first prompt was over, I told myself I was probably not going to continue to participate in the monthly challenge, as I only ed initially because the prompt was flowers, and I really like to draw with flower themes,, and I was initially going to stay true to that decision,, but,, eventually- a thought that came into mind kept gnawing at me,, so,, I ended up going through with it and making another entry ^^’
The thought that I kept thinking of drawing was a barbecue themed redesign- it might just be the Australian in me, but nothing beats a nice summer barbie, and with my concept being a bit more general, I thought it would be fun to work in a few different kinds of common barbecue foods for my design, to create some kind of meat amalgamation-
I did initially debate which character I was going to use for this, tossing between character like withered bonnie or molten Freddy,, but I ended up choosing twisted foxy, because when I first contemplated using him, the idea of him being his regular half torso, but instead of being in the ground, coming right from the bbq,, I just thought it was the right choice ^^’
Design wise I made the bulk of the character up with something like ground beef, an ingredient I see frequently at a bbq, for burgers and the like, with other meats added in, such as some chicken pieces or bacon making up parts of his arms, or the sausages in his arm and used for his fingers and hook,, I even included a couple T-bone steaks for his ears, his ears and head held on by skewers- The inside of his mouth is a bit more pinkish, as I figured the inside would still be cooked a little less, he’s gotta grill more if you want him well done-
I threw in a couple other bbq favourites, like some thick potato slices grilled into delicious chips, some cheese melted onto the beef for the burgers, or some grilled onion scattered in for some more flavour- the ring around his eye was also supposed to be made up of an onion, just not chopped as much,,
His eye I thought might be fun to turn into a flame, like a piece of burning charcoal, and for his teeth,, well, in my mind I was thinking they could be made from the bones of other grilled meats- a last minute touch I added because I forgot, even though it had been planned,, was the stringy ‘saliva’ comprised of the left over juices and blood that is found in meat when cooking, but it doesn’t show all that well unfortunately,, oh well I tried-
This ended up taking me way longer than I thought it would honestly, approaching 8 hours,, but,, I did have fun with it at least, and I guess it turned out okay,, do I suppose it was worth it ^^’ though,,, shading ground beef,, not the most fun ittedly,,, gah,,
But yeah! Here’s my entry for the monthly challenges weekly prompt, a barbecue themed Twisted Foxy!

Edit: I updated the images, this was originally posted with a colouring layer hidden, leaving a hole in him ^^’
