Hello, today I will be giving some tips on Unit Synergy. For those of you that don't know what that is, Unit Synergy is when 2 or more units use their strengths to help other units out. This goes beyond a basic ive unit and basic Emblem Buff. The unit duos presented make a really devastating combo, and can often yield unexpected results!
In this post, I will be listing builds, explanations, and strategies alongside the units listed. This is more of an "advanced player" guide, and is meant to help in your overall thinking of team builds. Without any delay, lets get into it!

Eirika and Nino make a dynamic duo because of their abilities. Each can do ultra amounts of damage just by ing each other!

Eirika
Weapon: Sieglinde (Eff+)
Assist: Flexible
Special: Moonbow/Glimmer/Aether
A: Fury
B: Sword Breaker/Desperation/Chill Spd
C: Hone Spd/Spd Tactic
S: Def Tactic
IVs: +Atk/+Spd, -Hp/-Res
Nino
Weapon: Gronnblade+
Assist: Flexible
Special: Moonbow
A: Fury
B: Desperation
C: Hone Atk/Atk Tactic
S: Hone Spd/Fortify Def/Def Tactic
IVs: +Atk/+Spd, -Def
Explanation
Seiglinde and Gronnblade work similar, as they both utilize buffs. The way they use buffs is different, as Seiglinde copys buffs and Gronnblade adds total bonuses to damage. Both can do a good job of buffing each other. With Eirika's massive buffs, Gronnblade will be maxed out to it's fullest potential. In turn, Erika will also copy those buffs. Nino can come equipped with Buffs to help Eirika. They're damage becomes even greater with Unit . Regarding Eirika's build, her C and S skills is pretty flexible, as you can run most buffing skills (that aren't Spurs/Drive).
Strategy
The team you would want to use along with this duo include a Cavalier and Armored unit. This only applies if you decide to use Tactic Buff. If you decide to use Hones, you can be more versatile in unit options. Tactic skills work better however, as you can cover more ground. Generally, you mainly just want to stick together and do a lot of buffing and damage.

Sanaki's Refine makes it so that she relies on fliers to do well. While this limits her team potential, it can really benefit her and other teamates if you decide to pair her with a flier.

B: Axebreaker/Swordbreaker/Quick Reposte

NY! Azura
Weapon: Flexible
Assist: Sing
Special: Moobow
A: Fury
B: Wings of Mercy
C: Spur Atk/Hone Atk/Drive Atk
S: Guidance
Explanation
Sanaki will need to be around Azura, so Guidance helps a bunch. Azura being a dancer also helps as you can get out of many situations with her dance. Sanaki will also be ed by Azura through Hones or Drives. Drives and Spurs are the best options for this because you won't need to akwardly position yourself to use a hone, but hones work just as well.
Strategy
Sanaki will be doing most of the heavy lifting in this build, as Azura is mostly there for . Azura's drives Sanaki's damage to extreme levels. Depending on the build you use, Azura will need to play around Sanaki. Mainly Azura should move around first to help Sanaki get into position, whether its to ploy or to go on the offensive. Its best to use this duo defensive or to bait, as Sanaki works best as bait.

Infantry Pulse is a very underrated move, and it can be absolutely devastating if combined with a Wo Dao like weapon and instant activation.

B: Desperation/Vantage/Quick Reposte
C: Infantry Pulse
S: Atk +3/Panic Ploy
IVs: Neutral
Sonya
Weapon: Dark Excalibur
Assist: Flexible
Special: Moonbow/Glimmer
A: Fury
B: GTomebreaker/BTomeBreaker
C: Res Ploy/Spd Ploy
S: Quickend Pulse/Spd Ploy/Res Ploy
IVs: +Atk/+Spd/+Res, -Def
Explanation
Quickened Pulse and Infantry Pulse make the 2 charge cooldown immediately activate. Sonya at the beginning of a match would do a lot of damage to the first person she attacked. You cam remove Quickend Pulse if your Sonya is +Spd, and use Spd Ploy/Res Ploy. Spd Ploy is probably the best, as it also benefits Marisa.
Strategy
For this set up, you need to Ploy and Panic the enemy. If you can debuff the enemy, it would greatly help Sonya tank an attack. If she is used to bait first round, then you can use a Ploy as a C skill. The quick proc of Sonya's special really helps her. Her weapon, Dark Excalliber makes using her special pretty strong. While this effect one last 1 turn, if you can manage to pick off 1 enemy then it makes the battle a lot easier. The best team comp I can think of along side this duo is Lute and Dorcas. With them you will have a bunch of Ploys, Insta-proc specials, and a whole lotta fun.

Llyod's new weapon refine is supposed to go well with Nino, but it doesn't really work out. Delthea on the other hand is perfect for ing melee infantry.

Delthea
Weapon: Dark Aura
Assist: Flexible
Special: Glimmer/Moonbow
A: Life&Death/Fury
B: Desperation
C: Drive Atk
S: Hone Spd
IVs: +Atk/+Spd, -Def
Explanation
Dark Aura grants +6 Atk to any ally wielding a 1 Rng weapon. Llyod makes use of this affect best, as his weapon grants him +3 to all stats when near a mage. Combine that with the added +3 Atk/Spd at 100% Hp, Llyod gets +12 Atk during combat, alongside other stat buffs. That doesn't include Drive Atk & Hone Spd from Delthea.
Strategy
Delthea's gives Llyod a huge boost in stats. Depending on the build you give Llyod, he will have some advantages and disadvantages with him. DC Llyod is generally the best option, as you can be an absolute mage slayer with his build. If you can't afford that, then Fury works just as fine. You will need to be cautious if using Fury as Llyod doesn't have too good of a defense. Llyod also can help Delthea, as you can devote your C and S slots to her. Distant/Close Def is only used if you want to focus on Lloyd, but you can give him any buff (preferably a buff in Atk and Spd). Overall, this duo is pretty flexible when it comes to builds.

Soren's new weapon and refine are actually good for Ike if you think about it. Heavy Blade doesn't work well with young Ike due to his basic Atk Stat. With Soren's chill Atk, Ike becomes more viable.

S: Heavy Blade
IVs: +Atk/+Spd/+Def, -Hp
Explanation
Soren's Chill Atk really helps Ike utilize heavy blade in power creep. Fury helps Ike reach 54 base neutral Atk. Vantage will probably help you more than Quick Reposte as you will suffer Fury. Ike's Rally Def/Res and Spur Def/Res go in hand to help Soren's bulk. Soren's defenses are also amplified by more teammates around him. You will have a strong Ike and a Defensive Soren.
Strategy
You want these units to be close together mostly. Soren only works defensively if you and Ike are together. Ike can operate on his own, as Chill Atk is infinite range. Chill Atk should definitely help Ike achive his Heavy Blade stikes, making Aether easier to cool down. Soren is used to counter the blues Ike can't handel. This strategy is pretty simple, but I find it effective. It also sheds light on the since forgotten OG Ike.

OG Marth and literally anyone works well. Though, anyone with owl effects or bond effects do the best with Marth.
