Regarding the latest FEH clip, specifically at the end, Líf said Nidavellir, which is basically the world of dwarves. Not finding much too distinctive, I did some research on dwarves, specifically the ones I know from childhood.

No, not Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. See below.

And these guys

The images are from the Spiderwick Chronicles series—children’s books with some amazing artworks.

One thing I recall about them is that they’re great craftsmen. While researching Norse mythology and its dwarves, it mentioned that they created Thor’s hammer Mjolnir. (Already a hint that we’re gonna see and learn more about her.)

As such, I feel like the new generic enemy units are gonna look more mechanical, maybe even throw in a few generic dwarves as mini bosses. Something like, “Defeat the dwarves to stop reinforcements.”

Metal dogs burst into the room.

As for the environment, how Peony mentioned the World of Steel? I feel like Nidavellir might look like that. (And not in an urban way like 21st-century style. Think of all the nature battle backgrounds we’ve seen so far and imagine them all made of steel, flora and fauna both.)

Bird and branch are made of metallic materials

The text reads:

“That can’t be a tree,” Simon said. “There’s no sun. No sun means no photosynthesis.”

Jared peered at the trunk. “It’s metal,” he said, realizing that the leaves were all beaten silver. High in the tree a copper bird beat its mechanical wings and stared down with cold, jet eyes.

“The first ironwood tree,” said one of the dwarves. “Behold, mortals, a beauty that will never fade.”

Jared looked up at the tree with awe, amazed by how one metal had been forged as rough as bark and twisted into branches while another was as delicate as filigree. Each silver leaf was unique, veined and curled like a real one.

This is part one of FEH’s Nidavellir theory post because part two will be longer and gruesome.
