Mythic Ashera first thoughts

I was writing my comment in the reaction thread. But it was getting pretty lengthy so I figured I’d give a go in an actual post.

Funnily enough before this trailer came out I was saying in certain chats along the line of "Who's ready for not Ashera and not Anankos?" because Ashera has been a character people have been saying sense mythics first came to be.

As for my thoughts about Ashera as a unit, without concrete stats confirmed:

•Really disappointed we didn’t get a Dark mythic as I was really anticipating one so I could improve my Dark def.

•As for Ashera herself I will probably pull for her anyway because my Astra has been pretty poor.

Being a Colorless unit in a mythic type plagued with red mythics will definitely give her value as is, while being the first astra mythic that can boost the res of our units.

•She definitely won’t be a carry if her stats turn out like how people calculated them to be below, but she can easily face down several magic foes and I imagine she can use Null-C Disrupt very well to offer a counter to restore traps in the form of a mythic over one of your normal units. As well as trying to tank and kill any mages in turn 1 setups like cav lines.

•As for Null Panic, I don’t think it’s gonna really change how people prepare their defenses. I believe that many people were so paranoid about panic that they avoided bringing buffs, and because people rarely brought buffs people stopped using panic, but even though panic faded away people still scarcely used visible buffs.

•Definitely decreases the value of the likes of Aversa, Iago, and Virion as they lose a big part of what makes them them as Ashera could become more common while providing some consistency in units like Nino (who recently got a resplendent)

•If i had to rank the Astra Mythics based on what I anticipate Ashera to be like I would have to say:

1. Plumeria

2. Reignn

3. Ashera

4. Naga

5. Altina

I feel she could tie with Reignn if her utility does prove useful as unlike Reignn Ashera can actually have an Enemy/Mixed phase if you so desired.

That about wraps up my initial thoughts on Ashera why this length makes it pretty obvious why I did a post instead of commenting on the reaction thread.
