When compared alongside most other species' technologies, the Star Dragons' stands within a league of its own, thanks to the species' access to the "Network", an extra dimension that spans the entire universe.
Every Star Dragon is born with access to the Network, as it is the plane of reality their "Wings" exist on. Although these wings cannot be observed by any other species, they allow Star Dragons to "Jump", travelling between two points through the network faster than could be acheievd through Lightfolding.
Despite this major natural advantage, most Star Dragon worlds exist within a small sector of Space. As transferring large amounts of supplies using Jumps is impossible, Star Dragon ships are primarily designed for transporting cargo, and run on autopilot systems as not to waste resources or development time.
The Network also provides Star Dragons with several other advantages. The first being it acts as a power source. Due to the large volumes of traffic as Star Dragons Jump, small pockets of high density energy begin leaking into the tangible dimension. Star Dragons have developed ways to tap into these pockets as almost endless, clean energy, using it to power everything from their cities to their alarm clocks.
The second advantage is with communication technologies. A Star Dragon needs never fear losing reception, as any signals that cannot be sent directly are transferred through the network until they reach a point with sufficient connection to fully send.
Unfortunately, there is no public data available on Star Dragon military technology for obvious reasons, however recent studies circulating appear to indicate the use of Network-related energies in Star Dragon weapons as well, however these are mostly rumours and are typically disregarded.

No wonder there have been issues at the fringes of the Network lately... If they keep abusing it like this then before long it'll... Probably collapse..."
