Since you all demanded more I will write. This has no connection to the contest entry and is seperate from it. Enjoy this shortish story
The Leblanc Syndicate had traveled to Gagazet to search for yet another sphere that was rumored to be around. Once they arrived they saw that the sphere was in the hands of two blonde twins. They were examining it.
"So what do humans call this?" The young boy asked his twin. "Len it looks like a ball of some sort.." The girl leaped back as thier touch caused it to play something.
"A boring movie.." Len groaned.These were the two Crypton twins Kagamine Len and Rin..or rather mirrors. They had woken up here lost and unsure why they were on a mountain santuary.
Rin was about to say more when she heard footsteps. "Umm.."
"Hey this mountain is no place for kids.." Omi stated as he and Logos approached. "Give us the sphere and we won't hurt you got it.."
"We found it! It belongs to us. We are not handing our treasure to some boring adults..." Rin declared. Len nodded putting on a brave face. Omi was taken aback. "The nerve.."
"Quite a mouth on them..but maybe I should.." Logos aimed his guns. This caused the two to back off a bit scared.
"Logos no! They are just kids. The boss would not ..." Omi tried to talk reason just as LeBlanc staggered back. "Boss what happened?"
"It was those DullWings. We lost the sphere. But I see these kids have it. Listen up kids. If you would kindly just hand us the sphere before the DullWings show up..we collect them.."
Logos put his guns away. "You have a point Omi. But the kids won't give it up.."
The sound of more footsteps echoed as Paine and the other Gullwings arrived. "Found you..Picking on little kids. You are just a bully!" Rikku declared as Yuna gestured for the twins to get behind them. Len and Rin glanced at Yuna. "Who are you..do you want our sphere as well.." Len asked. "B..but its ours.."
"And we are sphere hunters.." Paine deadpanned to them. LeBlanc growled. "Always bad timing.." She approached them and soon the groups argued.
"What do we do Len?" Rin whispered.
"Run.." Len said grabbing his mirror and they dashed off.. Rikku noticed this. "Um..hey.."
No one listened. Rikku shouted. "Hello!"
Leblanc,Omi,Paine, Yuna, and Logos paused to look at her.
"You do realize the kids just ran off with that sphere..." Rikku stated.
"What!!" They all replied and looked around.
"While you were fighting they took off down the mountain.." Rikku added.
"Hmph..well the sphere isn't importaint anyways..good luck DullWings.." LeBlanc and her two men retreated.
"Should we give chase Yuna.." Paine asked.
Yuna shook her head. "I would feel bad stealing from kids. As much as Brother won't like it..let them keep it.."
