Backstory:

She was born in the slums to a young couple, not being able to take care of her; they sent her to live with her grandmother. Her grandmother was a criminal at the time and taught her how to steal. People caught wind that she had a granddaughter and set fire to their house. Amidst the fire, her grandmother gave her the flute that she cherishes so much and told her to run. Her grandmother didn’t make it and before she escaped a piece of debris stabbed her in the back. She ran and ran until she couldn’t anymore. She ed out and awoke somewhere strange.
