A place in Eorzea that I think is good looking is the Rogue's Guild. Yeah, at first glance it just seems like a run down little room in docks of Limsa, but what it lacks in grand architecture it makes up for in character.
I love all the small details in this room, like the map on the back wall, marked with daggers as waypoints for locations.
None of the npcs in the guild are ever just standing around. Even the random rogues that are just side props look like they are doing something.
This run down little hole in the wall is every rogue's home, which is probably why I'm so biased towards it, that and the Ninja Guild is just a random, basically empty shack near Wineport.
