Yesterday my bunny died. Her name was Artemis so I thought I should make a post about the Greek goddess she was named after in her memory:
Rip Arti

Artemis was the daughter of the titan Leto and the god Zeus and she had a twin brother named Apollo. Her Roman equivalent was Diana.
She was the protector of young girls and the goddess of hunt, wilderness, wild animals, childbirth, women's diseases, and virginity. Because of that last one, she and all her companions swore to always stay a virgin and if one of her companions broke that oath, she was punished.
Her symbols were a bow and arrows, a stag, hunting dogs and the moon.

Her stories are mostly about her seeking revenge for an injustice that happened to her or her allies or about young men or gods falling in love with her and ending up dead.
She also played a huge part in the Trojan war, where she ed the Trojans and healed Aeneas, a Trojan hero.
