↳ Acosta uses a type of magic called Puppeteer Magic, which is pretty self-explanatory. It allows him to control humanoid life forms with small movements of his hands, like a puppeteer. He can force those he is controlling to use their magic, but it drains his magic power twice as fast. He can force himself to move as well with his magic, but it takes twice as much magic power. Puppeteer magic is a type of dark magic, so he is weak to types of holy or light magic.

↳ The only spells he knows are Takeover (not to be confused with Takeover Magic), it allows him to take control of two humanoids to use as puppets.

↳ The second spell is Generate, which lets him create up to five wooden puppets and control them telepathically, but this drains his magic power 1.5 times faster than Takeover. His wooden puppets have enhanced strength and are more agile than he is. With enough reserve magic, he can cast a third spell called Energy, which fires a powerful beam of energy at the enemy. At best, it can stun or incapacitate.

Acosta receives sensory information from the puppets, so if someone caught one and stabbed it through the chest, he would feel the pain associated with being stabbed in the chest. However, as a precaution, Acosta knows how to dissolve the puppets before anything can happen.

↳ Acosta carries two small daggers with him. One is made of steel, and the other silver. The blades can retract into their handles, so he stores them in his pockets. The silver blade has a small embellishment near the hilt (though still attached to the blade) that has a magic lacrima inside. It gives him a small ability to use Ice Magic, but it only works when he strikes with the blade. He can’t use Ice Magic remotely, it only comes from the blade.

↳ Acosta grew up in a world of Dark Magic. His family was full of enchanters and dark sorcerers. He soon learned the ways of the trade. Whenever he misbehaved, his parents would turn their magic on him and cause intense physical and emotional pain. He soon developed a terrible fear of dark magic and used his Puppeteer Magic on his parents, forcing them to kill themselves. Because Puppeteer Magic was the only type he had learned, he forced himself to ignore the emotional toll it took on him. He acts childish and optimistic to force himself to forget. Whenever he sees anyone using any type of Dark Magic, it gives him flashbacks and intense panic attacks. Because of this, he doesn’t use his magic unless his life or his friends are potentially at risk.
