Abilities
♧(Blood Magic)♧

♧(Rapid Reproduction)♧
•She can asexually reproduce at a rapid rate, and she has a certain level of control over her children. The level of control depends on how strong the child is and if she's in a good state.
Backstory
•The yoma are parasites that were originally created during the war between demons and angels. The demons bred them to fight against the angels. However, they were deemed as a total failure. The yoma were known to have a wide variety of mutations after taking over a host body, and their intelligence varied. Besides this, they took far too long to reproduce and could only create a few offspring at a time. Yoma also have to consistently feed on living organisms, or their host body will get weaker and slowly rot. Yoma sometimes retains knowledge from the host body, but it's rare. This is partly since when they take over a host body, their tentacles go into the brain. When the war ended, some of them were left behind in the mortal world since they were deemed not to be a major threat. Mesarose herself managed to parasitize a demon that seemingly interacted well with her yoma nature. Mesarose obtained both high intelligence and two important inherent abilities. These were both rapid regeneration and reproduction, which allowed her to heal quickly and create several yoma instantaneously. These yoma weren't fully under her control, especially if they were stronger and more intelligent, but she had a certain level of natural control over them. She has complete control over their minds before they take control of a host body. Mesarose was confused at first when she became self-aware. For many years, Mesarose simply spent her time feeding and some time looking into her race. Mesarose eventually made it her mission to hunt down and kill all of the yoma that weren't her children. She knew how unlikely it was for them to have especially good adaptations, but she simply wasn't willing to deal with that kind of risk. Her children were actually more likely to have at least a little intelligence compared to other yoma, but she still knew she could control them to a certain extent. It took Mesarose a period of around a hundred years or so to hunt down all of the yoma. Some of them were decently strong, but they weren't able to compete with Mesarose. The main reason it took so long was because the yoma were a long forgotten species, and they were thoroughly spread out. After that, Mesarose decided to focus on creating new and stronger children. She'd use a variety of hosts since their nature could at times lead to better mutations. She'd have a few useful ones, such as Ashla, who took over the body of a vampire and become one massive swarm of tentacles, Zeisha who took on the body of a dark elf and possessed the ability to polymorph, along with various others. Mesarose eventually found herself in the ancient Mesoia kingdom. She had planned to go on another feeding frenzy, but this plan was paused when she arrived in the land of Count Augustine. She planned to feed on his people, and he happened to be out and about. As soon as she looked at him, Mesarose could recognize that there was something special about him. She could recognize that he was some sort of inhuman. Mesarose instantly felt a strong desire to parasitize him and take his body for herself. Yoma can switch bodies, but they'll be in a weaker state while adapting to the new body. Few yoma transfer bodies, even if they do find a new one of high quality, though, since the constant feeding makes their body evolve over time. There's another more important factor, though. When a yoma takes over a body, it also melds together with the very soul of the body it takes over. This is the other reason for the transfer of memories between the yoma and the host body. From first glance, Mesarose recognized that Augustine didn't have a soul in his body, though. She could tell that he was something different. Mesarose released a swarm of vile tentacles and attacked Count Augustine with haste. He wasn't going to go down so easily, though. He used some sort of strange energy that corrupted her tendrils and made them decay. Mesarose regenerated almost instantly, and she could make the decaying flesh separate, but even then, he was able to keep up with her. Eventually, Mesarose decided that she'd have no choice but to retreat. Augustine wasn't going to let her escape from him so easily, though. He blocked her way and managed to overpower her. He didn't kill her, though, and instead, he made her an offer. She'd work together with him to kill a renowned hero, and in exchange, he'd let her live. He was fascinated by her nature and sought to be around another inhuman such as himself. Mesarose and August, as she called him, grew closer with time. Mesarose had been alive for many years, but she never really had a close relationship with anyone. She had her children, but she had no true love for them and saw them as inferior. Augustine was just as brutal as her, and the two of them seemed to get along well. In reality, though, even if she developed some affections for him, Mesarose simply craved his body for herself. She knew that taking control of it could allow her to grow even stronger than before. Augustine, on the other hand, saw her as something fun to observe.
•He wanted her to kill the adopted son of King Mesoia, Kale Mesoia. He was originally a lowly orphan, but he became a soldier for the kingdom and later on led the kingdom to several key victories. His keen insight and strength both made him very formidable, and after displaying powerful divine magic, he was declared a hero by the church. The king adopted him to keep him and the church ing him under control. Count Augustine wanted Kale dead mainly since Kale was onto him but also since he simply held a dislike for him. Mesarose eventually realized that her inherent abilities, although strong and core to her strength, weren't on their own enough to defeat powerful foes like Augustine for example, so Mesarose focused on learning both demonic magic and blood magic which she knew that she'd be naturally talented at. She'd form magic circles using either her tentacles or blood while sacrificing either her children or parts of her own body to further enhance the powers of her spells. Her inherent raw strength, combined with the forms of magic that she eventually mastered, made her rise to a far greater level of power than ever before. She put actual effort into honing her strength instead of simply running into battle, relying only on her regeneration and inherent strength. She became confident that she'd not lose even to Augustine should the two of them fight again. During this time, Mesarose stayed in Augustines mansion and over the period of a couple of years turned all of his servants into yoma. The two of them developed a bond, but it was mainly cat and mouse since neither of them could hold true affection for anyone besides themselves. Mesarose and Augustine eventually made their move to attack Kale when he was off on a mission to take down a colony of orcs. The orcs were already turned into yoma, and when the hero arrived, he was met with a massive horde of demonic parasites instead of orcs. He had both holy soldiers and strong knights at his side, though so these inferior yoma were held back. Mesarose came along with reinforcements, though. She summoned an army of yoma that she'd created through the years. A lot of the more powerful of her children didn't take part, but she still had many dangerous ones with her. The battle quickly got bloody with both sides suffering severe losses. Kale killed Mesarose's children at rapid speed, though. She had no choice but to get directly involved in the battle, and the two of them fought ferociously. The battle left the entire area in disarray, and both sides stayed away since getting caught in the crossfire meant death. Kale aimed to end the battle quickly, while Mesarose hoped to draw it out as long as possible. Mesarose fought with absolute brutality and used the heroes' followers as meatshields whenever she deemed necessary. It didn't take long for Mesarose to realize that something was up, though. She'd always assumed that Kale was around as strong as Augustine, but she realized that he was stronger than she'd suspected. His divine abilities also directly countered both her forms of magic and her nature as well. Mesarose fought dirty and left a few good wounds, but in the end, she faced defeat. Kale stabbed her with his divine blade and drained the mana straight out of her body. The life energy and mana she'd spent years carefully cultivating left her body, and she felt herself growing weak. The yoma under her control grew chaotic, and most of them retreated from the battle. It was at that moment that Augustine showed up and rescued Mesarose. He brought her along with him to a dusty mansion in the mountains far away from Mesoia. He already knew that she was doomed to lose against Kale, and he purposely didn't get involved in the battle. In her weakened state, Mesarose couldn't use magic or even release a few of her tentacles from her body for more than a few moments. In this greatly weakened state, her control over her children and her other abilities weren't usable. The servants in the mansion were all her children, but they chose to swear loyalty to Augustine instead of her. They never had liked her, and it was clear to them that she no longer held any power. After that, Augustine spent his time toying with Mesarose. He only fed her small animals and fed her inconsistently so that she'd survive but stay in a weakened state, unable to regain any of her strength. Mesarose decided that the best thing she could do was bide her time. She'd face constant disrespect from the maids and Augustine, but she planned to take revenge on all of them. She knew that not all of her children would be satisfied with remaining servants to a fallen count with a twisted personality in some rundown mansion. She even picked out a specific one with quite the tasty greed after watching carefully. Mesarose knew that she had one way that she could quickly regain a decent amount of strength, and that would be through cannibalism. The servants were all lower class yoma, but feeding on them would at the least upgrade her from her rotting status and make her strong enough to feed for herself. Still, she couldn't do anything alone since the maids monitored her, and her body was in a terrible state. Mesarose approached the maid and convinced her that if she helped her that Mesarose would give her both freedom and power. Mesarose convinced her, and the maid reported to her when Augustine was on a trip far away. They'd use this opportunity to ambush several of the servants which Mesarose then devoured whole. After eating a few of them, she could once more release a few tentacles for an extended period of time, and she had enough strength to overpower and eat the other servants. Mesarose and the maid ran away from the mansion, and since then, Mesarose continues with her mission to grow her strength. She plans to get into with one of her strongest children, Ashla, to use him as a stepping stone to take revenge against Augustine. She also plans to take revenge against Kale for draining the strength from her body but it's not her primary goal.

Yeah, I have lots of OCs that are unfinished and some older ones that definitely need to be updated cause of lore I've changed or since they just lack enough detail. It takes me a bit to get to it, though, too. I like the idea of a parasitic creature with human level intelligence, and I enjoy unhappy romance. Most of my OCs have no real romantic interest in anyone, so I put a few ideas together. Thank you, though, and I wish you luck with motivation.
