These beautiful creatures look near exact to any childs goldfish you may pick from a pet store. Their fins resemble multiple species of butterfly but my own personal favorite so far is the blushing phantom as seen above. Their scales are reflective to sunlight giving them a gleaming golden surface as they swim around in their floating bubbles.

Not much is known about the peaceful specimens except what you may find here in the wiki or even discover in a roleplay. Surrounded by a personal bubble of water, small bits of plants tend to get stuck inside the liquid. This gives them a food source on the go and a healthy balance of oxygen. To help clean or freshen their bubbles they may find a water source such as a pond or clean puddle and simply dive down and rise back up again in their fresh travel liquid.

A group of them are called schools, when they gather into close proximity their bubbles will merge together into one giant floating aquarium of wild flowers and butterfly goldfish.

They have a 15 year life expectancy

Typically in more humid climates where winter is not very long if even a season.

ᴘʀᴇғᴇʀʀᴇᴅ ᴇɴᴠɪʀᴏɴᴍᴇɴᴛ

Spring-summer they can be found in meadows and forests.

Fall they begin to school closer together in clusters and search for the perfect pond or dip in the ground. Come winter when the surface freezes, they are safe in puddles and ponds and other bodies of fresh water with their gathered plants and stored oxygen.

Typically through spring and again near then end of summer before everything begins to cool, they gather together and spawn.

When temperatures begin to drop, they begin to search for bodies of fresh water or dips in the ground to fill till spring rotates around and thaws the surface of their water.

ʜɪʙᴇʀɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴ

When they school together and the water freezes over, they do enter a hibernation of sorts. Moving more slowly or more of in a daze and keeping to deeper waters where it is warmer.

Quite possibly one of the most docile of creatures to exist, and not the brightest. You can catch one and place it into a fishbowl and it may never realize the way out is simply up. If you were to encounter a school of them on a picnic, it has been told to be quite refreshing to try and run through the bubbles before they could scatter away.

Good luck even getting a few bubbles out of em' only captured for cool pets or collectors. Sometimes for bait.

These guy sound cool and look beautiful! I really enjoy the soft yet vibrant reds and oranges, with a compliment of green in the art piece! Really easy and relaxing on the eyes.

And their little traits are so neat! Imagine instead of butterflies in your back yard or playground, you see a bunch of butterfly goldfishes! That would be nothing short of amazing.

A very lively and well made species, amazing job!
