Once upon a time, there lived a young man. This man believed in greatness, in the light, in protecting every soul no matter how dark it seemed. A man who thought he could change the world with a smile and a little...

✧Magic...

This man was not wealthy. He was actually quite poor. He lived in the Kingdom that lie just below the Floating Kingdom of Abilinnon. He often dreamed of the wondrous city, marveled at the people who came and left through a portal at the edge of town.

He saw so much potential in himself, but no one else did. He was often told his dreams of being "One of the Greats" were nothing but childish desires.

This man proved them wrong.

As soon soon as he was 16, the man disappeared into the mountains. He wasn't seen for many months. The people often worried he'd been killed, but none cared enough to look for him.

Upon his sudden return, he struck the people with awe. The man hadn't changed in looks, but in power. To this day, no one knows where the man learned this great power, but all cherished it.

The man quickly grew to become loved and adored by the people. One of his greatest gifts was the ability to heal anyone, no matter the illness or injury. If there was at least a faint heartbeat, they could be saved.

In addition to this, he was often referred to as the "King of Giants," as his newfound abilities gave him access to taming giants with a single word. Though... He only found use for this ability twice.

The land he lived in was ruled by a King who cared more about money than he did his people. He was greedy, but he wasn't as strong as he liked to say he was. The man decided it was time to end his reign, time to give the people the life they deserved. He challenged the King and his entire army.

Alone.

Of course, the Greedy King accepted his challenge. He brought all his men and all of his weapons, although, he instructed they only bring half of their ammunition (arrows and such, bolt action rounds). It was obvious the man was being underestimated despite all he had done.

The battle lasted but a few moments. The army defeated, the Greedy King placed onto his knees. The bloodshed... Was none? The man had defeated an entire army without the loss of one soul.

It wasn't long before the people called a vote for a new king, as the Greedy King had no heirs. Without even entering the vote, the man won. He was crowned King of Abilinnon, The King of the North. One of the Greats.

He was a flawless ruler, loved and adored by all his people. He followed his army into battle, he helped the young, the sick, he spent quality time with his people, and he never robbed them. He was a man of honor and spirit.

✧But things changed...

Upon being King of the North for a few years, a new threat arose. A man and his daughter.

The man went by the name Adam Swetzof, and his daughter, Sarah. They quickly became known throughout the land through mass slaughters. Everywhere they went, corpses lined their path. Although, they were no ordinary killings. Every human corpse was missing the heart from its chest, and everyone else was unrecognizable.

The King of the North sent word across the land to avoid these people at all cost. He also sent word that he wished to speak with these individuals. He got his wish, but they took their time.

Upon their arrival, Adam quickly made his demands known. He would have the throne, or he would have the King's head. His daughter stood at his side, shying away from the situation. The King knew what was going on. He had one choice, to protect his people, his land... He would have to fight.

The King expected Adam to fight, however, that was not the case. Sarah was his opponent. This young, nimble, yet tall female. Her eyes would shine terror. He knew this was not what she wanted, but the fight was inevitable.

It lasted a few hours. Her power, this monster Adam had no doubtably turned her into, was far too powerful. The King's giants were crumbled beneath her strength, all damage done to her only healed; he was doomed.

The King of the North was placed onto his knees before all of his followers. He had been defeated. Listening to the crazed rants of the man who would take his place, he closes his eyes...

✧ And his head hit the floor, dismembered from his body.

The King of the North's legacy lives on inside us all. His power lives in those he taught. His generosity is spread through the hearts and souls of his adoring people. No one shall forget the King of the North.

One of the Greats.
