•Originally, Darkforge was known as Zamora. It was inhabitated by the ancient tribes and beasts. The ancient tribes and the beasts had a good relationship, which had been fostered over thousands of years. Some of the of the ancient tribe even acted as beast tamers and formed close relationships with the beasts. There were, of course, rogue forces within the ancient tribes and beasts, but both sides were generally peaceful towards one another. The arrival of The Primals would be one of the first major changes. These five primals were Chaos Primal, Light Primal, Darkness Primal, Life Primal, and Destruction Primal. Each of them commanded elementals of a similar nature to themselves and some other forces. The ancient tribes and beasts were willing to at first be peaceful to the mighty primals, but The Primals didn't want peace. They desired dominance over Zamora. The Primals were the first to strike with their mighty armies of elementals. The ancient tribes and beasts immediately came together and began planning a counterstrike against the enemy forces. They were both commanded by a man named Galmar Ironclaw. Galmar was half-man half-beast and an incredibly dangerous warrior with great intelligence on top of it, which easily made him the perfect option for leader of both forces. The tribe and beast leaders were his generals and all of their forces united to face off against The Primals. The Primals arrogantly didn't the battle directly at earlier points in time. Instead, each of them granted power to a mighty champion, which would lead their forces against their enemy. The Primals forces were superior in strength compared to their enemies, but the tribes and beasts were more united, knew the territory better, and had a strong desire to win. With leadership from Galmar, they managed to win several important battles against The Primals, and Galmar even managed to slay some of The Primals champions. This made The Primals realize that Galmar had power far beyond that of the average man or beast and that his incredible ferocity was dangerous. It was then that they decided to directly the battlefield and brought forth more of their creations.

•The war picked up even more than previously with several battles that resulted in losses on both sides. The Primals grew to have the advantage, though, which left Galmar with only one option. He had to strike down The Primals directly if he wanted to keep Zamora out of their clutches. Galmar led his mightiest warriors and generals on a campaign to slay The Primals. None of them believed they'd make it back alive, but they were willing to sacrifice themselves if they could save Zamora. The battlefield had bodies littered on both sides, but Galmar eventually reached The Primals with his remaining forces. The Primals immediately unleashed their powers. Galmars allies couldn't withstand a single of the combined attack from The Primals while even Galmar could barely stay standing. Galmar fought ferociously with his life on the line, but The Primals toyed with him before killing him. After that, they enslaved the ancient tribes and got rid of the intelligence of the beasts. The Primals became the new masters of Zamora, which they would rule with an iron fist. They were able to keep the peace among one another as they divided Zamora evenly, but after a few thousand years, they grew more ambitious. Each of The Primals had very conflicting ideas, and they wanted to shape Zamora in their image instead of letting it stay divided. It was then that The War of The Primals began. All five of The Primals sent out their armies and champions to face off against one another in a series of battles. Some would form temporary alliances, but they'd quickly fall apart after a betrayal or something along those lines. This went on until Sarkathal arrived in Zamora. He was a dark god with incredible power on a mission to corrupt Zamora. He arrived as silently as possible and began recruiting those unsatisfied with The Primals, such as the ancient tribes that had been enslaved by them and corrupting some of the beasts to add them to his armies. The Primals were preoccupied with war among themselves, so they didn't notice him at first, and when they did, each of them only sent a small portion of their forces to attack him. Sarkathal easily crushed these forces as The Cult of The Dark, serving him, continued growing at a rapid rate. Eventually, The Primals could tell that Sarkathal was far more dangerous than any of them had previously suspected, so they decided to form an uneasy alliance. Both forces clashed aggressively, but Sarkathal had an advantage since his forces were growing while his enemies were not properly united and remained anxious of one another. With time, The Primals grew more at ease with one another since they all knew Sarkathal was too big of a threat for any of the others to stab them in the back, but at the same time Sarkathal grew his forces at a fast rate. Eventually, there would be a final battle that ended in victory for Sarkathal. This didn't come without costing him greatly, though. Sarkathal was badly wounded, and using his last bit of energy would transform the essence of The Primals. Each of their essences would form a dark tower. These towers were each absolutely massive in size with incredible dark power. A single tower had a hundred thirty floors, with each of them being the size of a large nation. They would be named The Five Dark Towers. These towers' dark energies would spread to the rest of Zamora, infesting it with dark magic, turning the soil dark, and filling the sky with darkness. It was then that Zamora became known as Darkforge. These towers had more to them than just this, though. The one that rules over a tower would obtain incredible power as well as complete dominance over the tower and the surrounding area. The vast amount of pure dark mana within these towers also allowed those within them to grow more powerful with the higher floors containing more dark energies. The towers would soon be split between five forces at the time. These would be The Monster Tower, which was controlled by the creatures that regained some of their intelligence but also took on a darker nature due to the spread of Sarkathals darkness, led by Tower Master Korthubal, The Dark Tower controlled by The Cult Of The Dark which had followed Sarkathal, led by Tower Master Maldrak, The Primal Tower controlled by the remaining followers of The Primals, led by Tower Master Valcan, The Valiant Tower controlled by those who weren't part of any force and wanted to combat the spreading darkness, led by Tower Master Ethel, and finally The Chaos Tower controlled by the previous followers of Chaos Primal and some others who went crazy because of the endless chaotic wars, led by Tower Master Guinevere. Each Tower Master obtained incredible god-like power, and their forces would also grow stronger with time because of the incredible dark mana within the towers. At first they all faced off in vicious wars due to their conflicting goals, but as the years went by the Tower Masters started to lose their original goals due to their incredible power and possibly the dark mana. They'd continue with these wars, resulting in an untold number of deaths every day, but none of the Tower Masters would directly intervene with the others, and their mightiest warriors wouldn't face off against one another. Those who didn't belong to any of the towers would suffer the worst. They'd end up being enslaved, killed, or eaten. Darkforge has grown to become an incredibly dark place full of despair befitting of the name over the period of a couple hundred thousand years. The Tower Masters rule like gods, and everyone is forced to obey them.
