6th Lesson Recap

In this Lesson we talked about dark creatures. The Basilisk, the Letifold and the appearance of Boggart and Dementor. After that the exam for the COMC Lessons was revealed.

Basilisk

- a giant serpent

- also known as the King of Serpents

- is bred by Dark Wizards

- Looking directly in the eye will immediately

   kill the victim, but indirect look will merely

   render them Petrified

- the mortal enemy of spiders, who can

   intuitively sense them and flee whenever

   they do

- XXXXX creature

- a Parselmouth may place a Basilisk under his

   or her control

- can grow up to fifty feet in length

- is a dark green colour with large yellow eyes.

- Basilisk skin is armoured like that of a

   dragon's, which deflects spells cast upon it.

- The Basilisk sheds its skin at intervals, like all

   other snakes, when it grows

- they eat vertebrate animals

Letifold

- also known as the Living Shroud

- a carnivorous and highly dangerous

   magical beast

- considered a Dark creature because of its

   highly aggressive and violent nature

- it's natural habitat in tropical zones

- black cloak roughly half an inch thick

- appears slightly thicker if the creature has

   recently digested a victim

Dementor

- a humanoid shape

- approximately three metres, or 10 feet high

- and are covered in dark hooded cloaks of long

    ripped black cloth

Boggart

- takes the form of someone's greatest fear

- no one has seen what a boggart actually

    looks like outside of that
